Do you believe in conspiracy theories? Why do you? What theories do you believe in? Is this a popular theory? Why do people behoove in such things? Is the illuminati confirmed?

On the flipside, why don't you believe in them? Are there any sound sounding ones? Do you enjoy reading them for laughs? Why do proutside in believe in such things?

I survived Jade Helm 2015 and all I got was a tin foil hat
I don't really believe in conspiracy theories. I think a lot of people "believe" in them for shits and giggles and the rest are just crazy. I don't believe in them because a lot of them are either:
    1. Stupid as Hell or
    2. Don't line up with what a government/organization would do

I don't think I've ever bought into any conspiracy theories. The media is just everywhere, nothing so big as some conspiracies suggest could go on without people knowing. Unless of course the media was controlled entirely by the government... but that would definitely have gotten out

Well, I believe in aliens and stuff like that, but I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to stuff like "Illuminati" because it just seems so out there? They've been going on about it for years and yet nothing's happened.

I don't care much for conspiracies. There are just too many things to worry presently, why get sidetracked by speculation? Perhaps those people who speculate just need a pastime to solve some type of mystery or coincidence. It's none of my business to what they think about a topic. Frankly, I don't care either.

Aliens, ghosts, etc. shouldn't even be conspiracy theories until a third party, possibly trying to hide them, gets involved, in my opinion. I don't think that even falls under the definition of the term "conspiracy." I believe in all of those entities, as humans cannot POSSIBLY be the only life in the universe, whether talking outer space or dimensional planes, that have our level of intelligence. That's just narcissistic.

However, if we're talking more along the lines of, "The US Government is trying to kill us," I have an interesting story for you all.

Are any of you familiar with Project MK ULTRA? I wouldn't be too surprised if you weren't. Let me break it down in layman's terms.

    The CIA's mind control program.

    Interested?

But here's the thing; while this is a conspiracy, it's not a theory. MK ULTRA is a documented project noted to portray Central Intelligence Agency's experimentation with mind control, hypnosis and sensory deprivation. These effects were achieved via drug use, aforementioned deprivation and abuse, and the test subjects consisted of the CIA's own members, prisoners of war, and unwitting U.S. citizens.

The project was first brought to public attention in 1975, after which, many documents were destroyed. However, a Freedom of Information Act request did uncover over 20k documents on the project, and a more recent 2013 senate hearing revealed even more about the project.

So, yeah. This is messy. Here's an article for further reading, I'm sure you can find your way to more info with further digging if this truly interests you.
