What is your favorite controller? And what's your least favorite controller?

The Gamecube Controllers are definitely my favourite:

Because the general design is really cool, its just as simple as it, and even as a kid, you'd see how the buttons stand out so it'll be easy to understand. Also, it's generally really easy to use, which I really appreciate because I for one can't really stand controllers that have like buttons and then side buttons, as well as buttons on top of buttons, haha. I'm so glad that they added an adapter for the Wii U version because it makes playing Super Smash Bros. and a couple of other games SO much easier to use. Unfortunately they ARE pretty rare these days, so, you'd have to be generally lucky to find one, agh.

By the far the worst controller that I have ever gotten my hands on is the wireless controller for the Phillips cdi:

First of all.. is this a controller or a TV remote? Well, yeah, the Wii's controller looks pretty much like a TV remote too, but at least the Wii simulates it's video game system as sort of like a TV Channel, and plus, it's pretty easy to use and understand too. But this controller.. look at it; you have the joystick RIGHT next to the buttons which makes playing with this a pain because it's really uncomfortable to try pressing any buttons while using the joystick. its like you have to use two hands even though it's clustered together.. which is downright silly.

It doesn't really look all that appealing either. Sure, it's a pretty old game controller design but, it came as late as 1991, which was around the SNES came along and it's controller looked soo much better, imo.

The Gamecube controller was always one of my favorites as well, the rumble feature with it always made thing feel more realistic. It was always pretty comfortable to hold too. I have a special wireless Gamecube controller that I also really like as well. It has a nice silver coating and a special feature that automatically lets you do a maximum button push for any button of your choice. All you had to do was light up the controller with a special button and then hold the "A" button for example, and it would automatically send a rapid amount of A button presses into the game. This was exceptionally useful in games like Mario Party in which a mini game required you to mash the A button to win. So many fond memories. :)

I would have to say that my favorite controller was the N64 Controller. I grew up with a N64 as a kid, so whenever I hold this controller my mind becomes flooded with all sorts of childhood memories.

Least favorite: CDI. Do I even have to explain why this my least favorite, cause I think Dragon already did a fantastic job of doing so.

Other than the D-Pad, I really like the 360 controller.

My favourite controller would have to be the Xbox 360 controller, since it's so nice and fits in the hand really well, and the buttons are in really good positions, thus easy to reach. Plus, it's wireless, and PC compatible. All-in-all, Awesome. :D

Least favourite controller that I've used? Anyone remember using this thing?

The gamecube controller is super comfortable for me to hold. It's really userfriendly, and I just really love it.

I love the XBox 360 controller. I have a PS2 controller very much like it and it felt very odd going back to the original PS2 controllers.

I really like the Gamecube controller too. The different sized buttons make it a lot easier to remember than playstation and I find it easier to hold on to then the Xbox controllers which always seem to slip out of my hands.

My favorite controller is probably the Wii U GamePad controller. It's always been extremely comfortable to me, and I like it most out of any controller - it has SO much you can do with it. The Playstation 2 and 3 controllers are a close second for comfort, though.

Does a mouse and keyboard count? It's nice to be able to move the cursor/focal point as fast as your hand can and all the buttons on the keyboard allow you to customize which button does what to your liking! I've never really been a fan of thumbsticks and d-pads.
