Cosplay Pikachu

I haven't even picked it up yet, and to be honest, I couldn't be less excited for any Pokémon -_- It really holds nothing special to me to have a dressed-up Pikachu. I don't like Pikachu enough to put it on my teams anyway, so I would most likely instantly box it and never look at it again.

 

I used my pikachu for a short while, just kinda as faint fodder to use items during tough battles. Though it did get to a pretty good level by the time I reached E4 just from the XP share. It wears the cute costume because I think it's adorable and now it sits in the PC because I'm not too great at contests.

Now that I've beaten the game I'll have to go back and see if I can get better at contests, it's a bit confusing to me.

 

Considering (if I remember right) you can't trade or breed it, my first playthroughs I didn't even bother with it. I may go back after I finish to try contests, but without being able to use it much beyond battles and contests its more gimmick than anything.

 

I didn't use cosplay pikachu, but I did like the cute pikachu.
I felt like it was a really bad gimmick, and it really didn't do much. Sure extra moves, but it didn't really increase any of the stats of Pikachu. I really just didn't bother with it.

 

As soon as I got it, I put it in the box. I found no use to it because I was just trying out a contest.

Also, it can't go in Pokebank, so I don't need to even train it at all for the future.

 

Meh. My Manectric is doing the sorts of jobs that I need in an Electric type. That, and I've probably got more Electrics than that, so I don't particularly need such a Pikachu.

He'll probably be the Cool participant for when/if I decide to collect the Lucarionite.

 

I tried to SR for a timid one but gave up after getting modest since it was close enough and I didn't feel like SRing any longer, especially not without a synchronizer. Wanted to use it but the little thing ended up boxed in the end and now I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to it.. though I definitely have plans to go through all the contests with it. Gotta see that contest champion battle animation, ooh!

As far as costumes go I definitely adore Pikachu Belle.

I was planning to use it in my OR playthrough, because I had a light ball on my copy of X, but then I noticed a problem... I only had one 3DS. I couldn't ask anybody from college for help, because it was the weekend, and there was no way I was waiting an entire weekend just to use cosplay Pikachu. I really wanted to, but couldn't

Maybe next time. Maybe next time...

 

My cosplay Pikachu, (I chose the Cute Costume one) is level 82 currently & has helped immensely ever since I got her. She helped me gat past Winona & Wallace & did a lot of work against the Elite Four. (Not to mention she's Timid Nature!)

 

I got a Jolly one, and boxed her anyway. I don't really like Pikachu, and she can't evlve so besides the fact she can get special moves she doesn't really stick out much besides being cute.

 

I never used it, not even for contests. I think it's cool how it gets a special move but for me the appeal really ends there. I do like Pikachu and I got a good nature on mine but that's as far as my interest in it goes, sadly. Still a very interesting concept though.

 

Eh, I'm not really a fan of it. The costumes were kinda cute, but Pikachu is not my favourite Pokémon ever.

 

Well... I didn't have a 6th team member at the time of receiving, and still don't because I'm too lazy to go grab my Shiny Ampharos from Platinum...

And now it's kind of over level 80. Oops.

But yes, I did end up using it a lot, for both contests and regular battles. I got terribly distracted by the contests, and as a result, my cosplay Pikachu has maxed out its five appeal stats.
I've found that cute Cosplay Pikachu works best for me (in contests) when given the moves Sleep Talk, Rest, and Facade to go along with Draining Kiss, which it already knows. In my "battle" with Lisia, I ended up spamming Rest and Sleep Talk the whole way through, without needing to use the other moves.

 

I used the Cosplay Pikachu only once in my Nuzlocke of AS (its Cool outfit), but it sadly died when up against Archie for the first time. It was a really neat addition to the game, and I loved all of its different costumes. Without a Light Ball though, it's sadly kind of hard to use in battle.

 

I loved the pop-star Pikachu, I used it all the way through ORAS well once I got it of course and also, the fairy move it gets draining kiss helps it a lot! whenever it is at low HP and I used draining kiss it saved me a potion or two

 

I tried using my cosplay pikachu, had it running around in the Beautiful costume for some time, but to be honest its not all that great? Just really really silly looking.

I think it would have been more cooler if more Pokémon had that kind of option, instead of just pikachu.

 

I am too lazy to breed or capture Pokémon perfect for costumes. So i used what i got. Mightyena took toughness, zigzagoon cute, castform beauty, vulpix clever, and as my only Pokémon with decent cool moves, cosplay pikachu was coolness. (Hillarious side story, level 5 Zigzagoon with charm, growl, grasss knot, and sunny day, beat Ali by a land slide). I honestly refused to use Cosplay Pikachu in battle. But i beat coolness contest easily (until Ali who i could tell would win from the first two turns).
