    So, one of the biggest laughing points of hte Pokémon community this year has been the lack of creativity. During the VGC Worlds, some variation of these seven Pokémon (Which I call the VGC 7) were used on most teams, with maybe one Pokémon difference.
    [3D='rotom-wash'][3D='kangaskhan-mega'][3D='landorus-therian'][3D='thundurus'][3D='heatran'][3D='cresselia'][3D='amoongus']

    This, I believe along with a number of other people believe is what is wrong with Pokémon. People have found a team that is difficult to counter, but instead of finding something with this team due to the synergy within it and the ability to cover most of hte weaknesses of other Pokémon in the team.

    However, I still think these Overused Pokémon can be countered in the metagame and eventually creativity will spawn again. So, what are some teams you think can counter these seven Pokémon?

    Here is my list:
    [3D='empoleon']@zoom lens or [3D='milotic']@zoom lens
    Ability: Torrent Ability: Competitive
    Nature: Modest Nature: Modest
    EVs: 252 Hp / 252 SpA / 4 Def EVs: 252 Hp / 130 SpA / 126 SpD
    -Hydro Pump -Hydro Pump
    -Blizzard -Blizzard
    -Aqua Jet/Flash Cannon -Protect/Scald
    -Protect -Recover
    Okay, so here is my theory with these two, especially Milotic with Sableye. Zoom Lens boosts the accuracy of moves by 20%, hence using Hydro and Blizzard. Milotic then is slower and so it gets outsped by most of the VGC 7, which then allow Zoom Lens to proc and Blizzard and Hydroshould hit more often. Blizzard destroys the double Genies while Hydro destroys Heatran.
    [3D='lopunny-mega']@/Lopunnite
    Ability: Limber
    Nature: Adamant/Jolly
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp
    -Fake Out
    -Return/Protect
    -High Jump Kick
    -Ice Punch
    This one basically counters M-Kanga. It outspeeds Manga on the Fake Out then destroys it with HJK. From here, Ice Punch deals with Amoongus and double genies while HJK kills Heatran.
    [3D='sableye']@Leftovers
    Ability: Prankster
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 Hp / 126 Def / 126 SpD / 4 Spe
    -Snarl
    -Will O'Wisp
    -Taunt/Quash
    -Recover
    Okay, so, Sableye is basically there for two reasons. First of all, he annoys people by lowering stats. Secondly, he baits Taunts, especially from Thundy. This works well with Milotic, Quash on Milotic to make it move last so Zoom Lens always Procs, but if it baits a Taunt from Thundy then Zoom Lens can Proc as well. Recover then trolls.
    [3D='aegislash']@Weakness Policy or [3D='mienshao']@(Life Orb)
    Ability: No Guard Ability: Reckless
    Nature: Impish Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Hp / 126 Atk / 130 Def Evs: 252 Atk / 126 Hp / 130 Spe
    -Wide Guard -Wide Guard
    -Shadow Sneak -High Jump Kick
    -King's Shield -U-Turn
    -Swords Dance -Fake Out
    This one is to get around Lando's annoying tendency to Band Rock Slide. Wide Guard ruins that. From here, Doublade is used to counter sweepers while Mienshao is a Mega Lopunny if Mega Lopunny goes down.
    So, you guys?

    I just wanna point out that 126 and 130 don't divide evenly by 4. Also, since Sableye's only attacking move uses SpA, it'd be better to go Timid than Modest. And I don't think Mienshao gets Ice Punch and its item is usually a Sash or Life Orb.

    Thanks for those suggestions. I had Sableye as Jolly cause I thought that Snarl did two things. 1. Hit Allies and 2. Proc ally Competitive so I didn't want damage. However, since it does neither of those, then I'll change it. Also, I don't use Mienshao so I didn't know that. I'll give it U-Turn.

    Guys, keep in mind that you guys can post your own ideas for teams as well. This isn't just a Rate my Team, it's trying to bounce stuff off each other until we have a good amount of ideas to counter those 7.

    I like the team :) Just some fixes to the spreads, just to maximise the EVs.

    Sableye
    Level: 50
    EVs: 252 HP / 68 Def / 4 SpA / 124 SpD / 60 Spe
    Bold Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk

    The same stats for speed and sp def as your spread, with 3 extra points in Defence and 1 point in Sp.Atk (Otherwise the 4 EVs would be wasted at level 50).

    Milotic
    Ability: Marvel Scale
    Level: 50
    EVs: 252 HP / 244 SpA / 12 SpD
    Calm Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk

    2 extra points in Sp.Atk

    Just a rule of thumb, unless you need a positive nature in a particular stat to survive a certain attack you're often having a positive nature in the stat the Pokémon has the highest base stat value for. I also removed the attack IVs to reduce Foul Play and confusion damage, as well as psyshock in the case of Milotic.

    Could you explain the EV spreads? What do they allow you to survive in particular?

    I love using Scarf Mamoswine to counter CHALK teams. It outspeeds Adamant scarf Lando-T (assuming you are Jolly max speed) and OHKOs at -1 with icicle crash (the same goes for M-mence), 2HKOs bulky Thundy while completely wallking it in return and OHKOs non-shuca berry Heatran. I like pairing it with Cresselia and Zard-Y as Zard and Mamo have amazing offensive synergy and they both greatly appreciate speed control.
