Courtney vs Shelly

I like Shelly more! If anything, because I find her more aesthetically pleasing than Courtney, ahaha. But I haven't gotten to interact with Courtney much yet.

 

Courtney's personality is a little bit creepy but she's so adorable and I definitely like her a lot.. but Shelly is also gorgeous. Guh, both of these characters have amazing designs that I like so it's hard to pick a favorite but I think I'll go with Courtney in the end. Her overworld sprite is really nice-looking and I especially love her animations in-game.

 

Shelley for having the (imo) better personality... and looks.

Courtney just seems kind of bland. Needs more personality.

 

Going to say Courtney here. She operates almost mechanically, and sort of reminds me of a certain Fairy Tail character. I've always liked Team Magma a bit more than Team Aqua, because in my opinion, they operated more efficiently than Team Aqua.

 

Courtney for me becuase of the manga. Her robotic, slightly unhinged personality was pretty interesting, and since I played Omega Ruby, I never saw much of Shelley. :/

 

I liked Courtney a bit better. Even though she was a it cooky, she was pretty cool. I think she was more memorable with her kinks than Shelly who, frankly, I have no recollection of what she did in the story or what her personality is like.

 

I would say Shelly for one reason, which is best explained with the following quote:

But seriously, I like Courtney almost just as much, the only problem being that she doesn't appear as much in the game as Shelly does. I honestly didn't know that she existed until I was looking up images of female evil team admins for one of my YouTube videos xD I never read the manga either, so I really don't know that much about her, but she's definitely an interesting character. However, Shelly's multiple appearances in the game, as well as the things she says, make me like her a little bit more.

 

My choice is clear, definitely Courtney! Always Magma over Aqua anyway (Camerupt > Sharpedo)
Courtney is so cute and adorable when she is around Maxie. Totally shipping them.

 

I like Shelly, she seems more open and fun to me, plus I like the story with her, archie and matt.

But yeah, I really love Shelly better in this game than the previous Gen 3 games. Has a lot more personality and great development getting together with Archie the boss. I would of hoped that her Pokémon put up more of a fight though, but, she's not too bad!

 

I like Courtney. I really have no reasoning other than I played Omega Ruby, not Alpha Sapphire.

 

Courtney wins it for me. Shelly seemed to bland and boring...I've played both games fully and I still don't really like her or Matt. At least Matt had an interesting quirk but Shelly was just sorta there most of the time, imo.

 

Courtney by far. Honestly, both of them seemed robotic in a way, but Courtney was very satirical in her character development, which I'm a fan of. It definitely gave her some personality over Shelly. Ben said it--Shelly was bland.
