This thread plays off of the idea that [member="Spectrum"] had for Create a Counter, except this time around you guys will be creating a partner that pairs with the above Pokémon set!

    RULES:
    • While OU-tier and below Pokémon are preferred, Ubers are also acceptable!
    • Assume all pairs are to be in single battle format. If your set is better suited in another format, please let us know!
    • Give a full set including EVs, Nature, Abilities, and Moves!
    • Give a short explanation for why you think your Pokémon would pair well with the one above yours!
    • Use only legal sets!
    To get us started off:

    [3D='entei']
    Entei @ Choice Band
    Ability: Pressure
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
    252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
    - Sacred Fire
    - Stone Edge
    - Bulldoze
    - ExtremeSpeed

I'm guessing this is OU -

    Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
    Bold Nature
    - Volt Switch
    - Hydro Pump
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Rest

Gyarados can easily use Entei in OU as setting up bait and then be a very postent sweeper. Phys Rotom-Wash can come in and hurt it a lot with a Will-O-Wisp and then hurt a lot with a volt switch, eleiminating its main counter. Chansey walls Rotom-Wash and entei with its band and Adamant Nature so that can OHKO Chansey. Rotom also allows a slow-switch which can let Entei take out a Pokémon with relative ease. Choice scarf can cripple chansey and Gyarados and also beat Gengar but at the same time, Gyarados would be a bit more of a risk when mega thanks to rotom's power not being too good and the fact that it cannot be tricked.

    Good choice!

    A great partner for Rotom-W is M-Venusaur:

    [3D='venusaur']
    Venusaur @ Venusaurite
    Ability: Overgrow
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
    - Giga Drain
    - Synthesis
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Hidden Power Fire

M-Venu tanks pretty much every counter/check Rotom-W has and retaliates with a harder blow. Excadrill still hits hard, but M-Venu takes every electric move from every electric Pokémon (including stall threats such as Zapdos and glass cannons like M-Manectric) as well as literally every grass move that threatens Rotom-W.

    Heatran @ Leftovers
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 252 HP / 96 SpA / 160 SpD
    Calm Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Lava Plume
    - Ancient Power
    - Roar

Specially defensive Heatran is the icing for the M-Venusaur cake. Heatran can cover a lot of the moves and Pokémon that could hurt Mega Venusaur, while Venusaur does the same in turn for him. Lava Plume is for the default STAB and burn chance, whilst Ancient Power is there to take care of the Flying types that can easily take care of Venusaur (looking at you Talonflame). Stealth Rocks is there for a team support and helps in general, whilst Roar is there to push out setup mons who tried doing it on Venusaur and/or Heatran, and to hurt the enemy team more if you have Rocks set up already.

    [3D='serperior']
    Serperior @ Life Orb
    252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD
    Ability: Contrary
    Nature: Modest
    - Leaf Storm
    - Giga Drain
    - Hidden Power Ice
    - Dragon Pulse

A specially offensive Serperior is a great partner for a specially defensive Heatran since it can check nearly all threats to Heatran--including Manaphy, Hippowdon, Garchomp, and anything with Earthquake. Heatran in turn soaks up the fire aimed at Serperior, barks back with a Lava Plume, and in the case of an Ice or Flying type, Ancient Power works very nicely.
After a single Leaf Storm, Serperior can become an incredibly powerful setup sweeper.

    [IMG] - Mew
    Mew @ Leftovers
    Ability: Synchronize
    EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
    Careful Nature
    - Taunt
    - Soft-Boiled
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Knock Off

This is THE stall breaker set for Mew and one that fits perfectly with serperior (granted it is ripped right from smogon). This is because Clefable and Heatran is Serperior's biggest counters out there if he ever had one. Clefable can unaware wall Serperior with ease, just wishing its HP back quite literally and chip damaging the pokmeon, making him a tough nut to crack. Along with this he can set up using calm mind to negate the boosts which serperior gets from Leaf Storm and attack back with a flamethrower/fire blast. Heatran can threaten Serperior with his quad resist to leaf storm and his immunity to hidden power fire. But before this turns into dose of CaC, mew would fit on as he easily switchs in ad taunts and knock offs an generally ruins any staller/wall to serperior's day.
