Create Your Own Pokémon Cards
Welcome to the Create Your Own Pokémon Card Event! Your challenge in teams, or not in teams if you wish to just participate, is to create one evolutionary line of Pokémon Cards. It can be an evolutionary line of two, three, EX to a Mega, etc. It has to be more than one Pokémon in a line of cards. Be sure to decide as a group which Pokémon line you are doing!
Here is what you will need to create-

Art of your own to go on the card- you may NOT use art that you didn't create, this does include official Pokémon art.

Move Sets that are unique and creative, try not to just say you gave it Vine Whip for 20 Damage. Instead, try to create moves of your own like Seed Bloom- you search your deck for two Basic grass type Pokémon, ect.

Add your stats- HP, Weakness, Retreat Costs

Bonuses- You can earn bonus points by doing these

A description of the Pokémon.

Your own card set, name, and icon- such as jungle, Guardians Rising, ect.

Create your own Energy Cards that go with your Pokémon. (You may use the official icons for this)

Then put your card together, either in Photoshop or using a card maker online! If you need to see what Pokémon cards look like, feel free to check in on Google to get some great example of cards new and old.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! You have until July 21 updated to July 24 to finish your cards!

Nope, they should be existing Pokémon! If you want to make your own Mega Pokémon, I don't see the harm in it, but the should be real Pokémon! You could do Turtwig, Grotle, and Torterra if you wanted, etc.

@Cadbberry If one were to enter an Individual piece and win (As well as them beimg part of a team). Would that net the team a win?

To offer a solution, the pieces would be scored from lowest to highest (up to like the top 5, 1st getting five points and 5th getting 1 and all after that getting 0) if that makes sence

If you are apart of a team then you are to work together to create a set. For those not on a team, they can enter individually.

A reminder that this event ends in 3 days! Be sure to get your cards together and post them in this thread! If multiple groups or people who want to participate need a few more days then please let me know asap so I can look into extending the event. (aka if it is the last day, letting me know then will not sway my opinion.)

I think from different teams. I would not be opposed to extra time, tbh. But at the moment it is not urgent for Team Valor, I think.

We have decided on our rankings!
In first place for 10 points- Team Acuity! The art on your cards looked like something I would have seen on an actual card, we were really amazed to see how close that looked to official art, enough to question if it was or not. It was amazing work and the descriptions you wrote were very cute, great job!
In second place for 8 points - Team Verity! Your art was very crisp and those full art megas were drawn wonderfully! Great job on accomplishing nine cards, though the energy cards were a little lack luster since the others were so great!
In third place for 6 points- Team Valor! You had wonderful ideas for your cards and great team work went together in the complete process. You did a great job on making interesting card art, especially the Huntail card, that I want to see more of!
