We've all seen terrible movies. Poor production value, bad acting, terrible special effects. And then there's the rare few that have some sort of unholy mixture of all of it, creating a movie so terrible that it's good. What are some movies that made you cringe so hard you couldn't stop watching. What were some that you just found yourself laughing at it? Back when my big group of friends were in Hawaii, we'd go to one guys house and watch shitty sci-fi. We'd have great laughs as we ate choclate chip popcorn. I can't remember all the films, but the most potent one was a little "gem" simply caked "They". I'd tell you what it's about, but to this day I still don't know what was going on. All I know is that the ending made me question my life choices. If you ever get a chance to watch They (its alt title is "They Came from Inner Earth") do it. You will only greatly regret it
I love this movie and I will never hate it due to nostalgia but a movie that is cringe worthy: Labyrinth with David Bowie. Just the whole concept, then the puppets, David Bowie's "friend", the music. It all makes me cringe to this day. But because it's so far out there and so different I will never forget this movie from my childhood.
Does Bee Movie count? no? okay I'll pick a better one. So there's this gem a friend told me about a few years ago, called "Black Sheep" and it's a horror comedy, and... the entire plot of this movie is just... I can't exactly explain it. The best thing I can do is post a trailer and let you see for yourselves. Spoiler: Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gEDUDmZkyc Well, I'll try my best anyways; Black Sheep is about murderous weresheeps. That's... pretty much all I can say about it. And the worst part is, despite its questionable plot, it was relatively interesting to watch. Whether I'd call it 'good' is a different matter entirely, but...
Birdemic! My mom got it thinking it was some Birds spin off, mistakes were made... Its so bad I just watched it all the way to see how bad
The only overall cringe worthy movie I've seen is Justice League vs Teen Titans. I even had to stop halfway because I couldn't take it anymore. The character development was a bit off in my opinion and it just wasn't for me in general. There are also some scenes that are pretty cringe worthy in awesome movies, such as the Harry Potter movies. One where Harry, Ron and Ginny sat down together, when Harry asked Cho to be his Yule Ball partner, when Harry accidentally spat his drink, and when the Gryffindors tasted these things that made them sound like animals.
Bio's face is cringe worthy The new Fantastic Four movie is a prime example of cringe worthy. As a huge Marvel geek, and a huge fan of the comic book depiction of the Fantastic Four, the movie was absolutely horrifying. I can't say there was a single thing about it that I liked. The acting, characters, plot, animations, and especially the villain were just absolutely awful. I was cringing so hard by the end of the movie. It was bad. Really bad.
Well, I'm not sure about films, but as far as cringeworthy goes, the translation of English movies into Arabic (or other languages) is very... different! I watched Big Hero 6 and Kung Fu Panda in Arabic, and the voices were horrible! They lacked expression, and Hiro's yells were very shy and lacked expression as well. I'd go for the English version any time! Teen Titans Go! is hilarious, very funny (Starfire's voice actor is actually Viridi's voice actor!), but the characters do such silly things as opposed to the more serious (and awesome) nature of the original Teen Titans.
The Wages of Sin It's a B movie, and very bad and pretty gross too. I hated it :c We got it in one of those 4 in one disc movies things.
House of the dead... YES they did a movie of it.... It was terribad, to the point of laughter, then sadness, because it wasn't over yet. Finally anger, for the dumbasses who had the idea, to butcher such a classic game franchise.... Worst moment of the film: everything! Redeeming moments: Some hot chicks were present Would I watch again: Hell naw!
Legally Blondes is so terrible and cringe worthy it's good. I'd actually recommend it. Child's Play (Is that what it's called?) is the worst horror movie I've ever seen. Don't watch it, it deserves to die.
Any of the "animal plays a sport" movies. I don't care if it's a dog or a monkey or whatever, it's dumbass cringeworthy cinema. Those and any Home Alone movie after Home Alone 2. But these aren't really "so bad they're good" to me, they're just plain bad. So bad it's good would be something like Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie however with them it's always kind of intentionally so bad it's good so I don't know if it really counts.
High School Musical. I saw half of it again with my sister because it was passing on TV the other week, and my god was it cringe worthy. I never really liked it in the first place, but my sister did and she used to watch it all the time. All. The. Time.
Theres this Indian comedy called Housefull 2, and it is the single most unintentionally hilarious thing I have ever seen. A lot of the jokes and slapstick comedy fall flat, but the actors and plot are so over the top that every time I watch it Im reduced to laughter, not from the characters or jokes, but rather the way they are said. Plus, it does have one of the best-worst songs to ever come out of Bollywood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HixoMOoLwIM <---Even if you cant understand Hindi, the music video itself is insane Not only is it a rip-off of an English song (Papa Americano) but the lyrics, if you can understand them, are so shamelessly idiotic that its impossible to keep a straight face xD There have been plenty of great movies to come out of Bollywood(3 Idiots, Taare Zameen Par, Jab We Met, etc) but this, fortunately or unfortunately, wasnt one of them.
