Can I be the character I created that is my picture? Her name is Allyssa the Hedgehog

 

I'm not in charge or anything, but I'm pretty sure that you would probably need to modify her a little bit. I would ask Satix though

Name: Farrah Raines

Appearance:
Her hair is that of a light brown and a bit choppy in length, not chocolate brown but not on the blonde end of the spectrum, somewhere in the middle. It reaches her mid back but she usually keeps it put up in a bun, though often it escapes and falls down around her face. She wears sort of like a corset type black and green dress that is knee length at the front and mid calf length in the back, trailing behind her. Her weapon of choice is a katana with mysterious engravings on the hilt. It's long and has a silvery sheen, even when the light isn't shining upon it. Farrah carries this katana with her at all times on her way to CA, strapped to her back in a holster sort of like a one strap back pack would be carried. With eyes of deep green those certainly have to be her greatest feature. She is by no means perfect and thinks she's just average looking. As a person she's pretty timid, though when she has to she has a will of iron. With dead beings though she speaks without problem. Her lean built makes her able to do what she needs to in physical confrontations and her speed works to her advantage.

Race: Human

Pet:
Not originally, found on the way to CA, Farrah finds a lone tabby cat with one eye. This cat is a walking disaster with patchy bluish gray fur and scraggly ears, one of them missing the tip from what she assumes to have been a hard past life. She comes to call this cat Nigel.

Pet Powers:
Nigel is mysterious; Farrah doesn't think that he has any real powers at first but he begins to do strange things. He also disappears often to places unknown. Eventually she figures out that he's some type of shape shifter.

Attribute:
She is good, though sometimes the atmosphere or people around her can easily influence her. That can cause distractions but her main goal isn't for malice.

Element: Spirits of the dead?

Powers:
Called a witch by the people of Romea, Farrah is actually what is referred to as a necromancer. Though she is human-born she was blessed with the power of being able to raise, talk, and communicate with the dead. She finds interest in the shadows, so the different realms at CA intrigue her. Especially the Shadow Dimension. She also has the ability to see visions of the past. An example would be if she touched some old piece of jewelry she could see what was left imprinted in it, maybe someone died with it.

Bio:
Farrah comes from Romea and has lived there all her life. She knows nothing but discrimination, for the townspeople call her a witch. Why? It started out one stormy day. Her father was walking home furs slung over his shoulder and a proud smile on his face as he thought about getting to see his two girls and pregnant wife for the first time in a couple weeks. He often went on extensive hunting trips, this being one of the shorter, as his occupation demanded. The day had started out particularly gloomy with low hanging clouds above and a stagnant, bland feel to the air. As a storm rose up seemingly out of no where her father tried to hurry home but ended up being struck dead by lightning nearly right outside their home. Upon hearing the townspeople's screams, Farrah and her family run outside to see what all the commotion is about and are devastated by the sight. 7-year-old Farrah falls to the ground beside her father and cries her eyes out, mentally begging for him not to be dead. Little did she know that's exactly what will happen. While she's occupied crying her father's body stirs, crawling over to where she is. The townspeople are horrified, as is Farrah, and she bolts, not turning back and not speaking of the voices in her head or a strange tingling that came over her. From then on they've called her a witch. One day she receives a letter from Crysis Academy and begins the journey, hopefully for a better start.

Appearance:
Being from the forest-like area of this here world; his attire is mainly created to represent his tribe and the ability to blend in with the environment. His attire consists of; a long sleeved dark green tunic that reaches just above his knees. There is an elegant embroidery that travels along the edges of the light-weight material. Over his tunic he wears a lighter green leather vest that has black laces that tie the vest together. There is a long leafy-like hooded cape that drapes over him. (He doesn't wear the hood up often due to it messing up his hair and draping over his eyes.) He wears leather fingerless gloves with some leaves covering his forearms. (These leaves can also be removed, just like his cape.) Louis wears a dark brown belt that contains two smaller bags and have giant leaves draping off them. His pants are also a light-weight material of a dark brown color. These pants are almost skin-tight and go down to his dark leather boots. (Loose pant-leggings are often noisy and would have revealed his presence to the enemy.) Lastly, on his back, he has a bow and quiver that are almost always equipped.

As for his hair and skin, Louis has dark brown hair that is nicely kept. However he has a noticeable cowlick near the front. His eyes are of a greyish-green color. Louis is rather lean and his skin tone is on the pale side of the spectrum.

Pet Powers: Can squawk fire balls. Although, being this element, Louis usually has Archimedes be his "second pair of eyes." Reason being, Louis mainly focuses on using the power of Mother Nature's plants and fire can burn down the vines/plants he uses.

--- Special Ability Descriptions:

In his tribe, Louis is a Stealth Warrior. His main focus is on sneak attacks and not brute force combat. Louis' ability heavily relies on Mother Natures' presence in the area. This being said, he can use:

- Vines: This is his most used ability due to it being more useful than the others. Using vines, he can make them into damaging whips or use them to simply trip up the enemy. They can also catch someone if they are falling out of a tree or cliff side.

- Vine Shield: With the use of vines, he can make a cocoon-like shield around himself. This can protect him from rocks falling or attacks coming from above. However an enemy can still attack from under ground or through the use of blunt force.

- Trees: Are useful when he's fleeing from an enemy. He can use them for; barricading, minor protection, hiding, or grabbing at an enemy using the branches. He however cannot make these trees walk around. They can only lean over as far as they can possibly reach. He is also capable of controlling four trees at a time.

- Plant Magic: Not really useful here other than making things pretty, growing, or reviving dead plants. However as much as he would love to, he cannot make 20 foot flowers; the plants can only grow their regular size or slightly larger than normal. Sometimes he uses this ability to confuse people by making them feel lost in the woods. This is done by making plants grow and changing the appearance of the path they have recently traveled.

- Talk to Owls: Just as the label says. Louis is only capable of talking to Owls. Being that his partner is one, he has learned various ways to communicate with them.

---- The downside of his Nature ability:

- Low Plant life: If he is in an area where plants are low and scarce, his abilities are weakened. Being that there is a lack of nature, he cannot use them to assist in battles. So rocky, beach, water, desert terrain are horrible for him. This will make him resort to using his Bow and arrows and fleeing.

- Intense focus: Most of his abilities require a lot of focus. Especially when he is controlling more than one object at a time. This makes it easy for cheap/sneak shots. When he performs these attacks, this is why he is usually trying to hide from sight, to help prevent or lower the chances of sneak attacks from happening.

Other Skills:

Bow and Arrow Skill: Louis is pretty skilled on using his Bow and Arrow. One could say that he is a sharp shooter.

Stealthy: No he cannot turn into a chameleon and blend in. But with his attire he wears, he can hide pretty well in forest-like environments. He's also careful and quiet on his feet.

Bio: Louis was born and raised by his father, in a small tribe that resides within the depths of a large forest. Along with his father, Louis lived with his two younger sisters, a grandfather and a younger cousin. As for his mother, Louis only remembers her turning her back to them and running off. The only words he remembered coming from her lips were... "You'll never amount to anything worthwhile, Louis."

He knew that he was a rebellious young child who performed tricks on the innocent and laughed at their troubles. Causing mischief was something he had always done. Louis had been scolded several times by many and has been disciplined more times than all of the kids who lived within the tribe combined. However, upon his mother's departure he remembers those foul words and being struck by this; Louis was then determined to set aside his past self and change for the better. He wanted to prove her wrong. Louis wants to show her that he could amount to something, perhaps something more than she ever could be.

As he grew older, he began to watch the warriors of his tribe practice their combat. He noticed the flaws and the positive traits of their specific styles of fighting. However, knowing that in his past he was a bit of a trickster, he figured that with his current body build and current knowledge, he would perform better as a sneaky warrior rather than a blunt force one. Once he completely decided on this, he joined their ranks as a Stealth Warrior.

Upon his entrance to the rankings, he was given a gift. An owl. Little did he know, that this Owl was a joke from the commander. Archimedes was a temperamental and troublesome critter that often ignored orders and spat fire at his owners. Louis knew that if he was going to get anywhere, he needed to step up and get this owl to listen to him. After a series of conflicts, arguments, and battling one another, Archimedes and Louis finally met on similar terms. However, even to this day, the duo will occasionally get into arguments and try to prank one another.

How Louis heard about Crisis Academy was through his commander whom sent in an application to the academy for him. The commander felt that with Louis' abilities, he had a chance there. A much better chance than any of his other warriors. With this letter sent, Louis later received a response letter from the Academy saying that he had a choice to join or not. Without any thought, Louis accepted the application and makes his way to the academy.

Name: Kazuya Himori / Lyeru Ta'ael

Age: 49 (was 44 at death) / 19

Appearance: Lyeru stands at an average height of 5'6", his skin being a light green color and being much like a dolphins in it's properties aside from the color. at the point of his head where most humanoids would have hair he has dorsal fins as his race would, his however being extremely many in number and thin with pointed ends, covering the top of his head like hair, giving an appearance like they were hair due the the amount and their shape, these being darker than the rest of his skin. each of Kazuya's ears comes out of his head with three points making them up, theses being at the side of his head where the hair-like dorsal fins end and are extremely close, his eyes slightly darker than the color of the skin due to the translucent eyelid always covering them, having no pupil or iris inside. his body is thin being thinner than that of most beings who would have either muscle or fat they would gain from their life, his muscle mass being minimal though the resistance moving in the water gives made his legs muscles more capable than those of land creatures and thus are the only points where muscle may be visible in movement much, his fingers and toes being webbed, clothing worn by him seeming to be a mixture of that of his own people and that he has found outside often being a a white undershirt with black pants and a black jacket once owned by Kazuya whilst he was alive. however when he is going to enter the water he is often only wearing something like a loincloth that wraps around enough so that it covers his genitals from view of any others whilst underwater, this being made of leaves and other materials manipulated by his own race in it's creation. Kazuya's wraith-like form is much darker than the skin of Lyeru, being made of smoke that is almost black with embers and flame inside visible through holes where his eyes and mouth would be, having no legs on the form of his body though it's appearance similar to that of him in life the upper body thin though the shape of the smoke seeming to emulate a small amount of muscle tone having been on the form with the arms showing similar in the smoke however being thinner than that of most humans with the fingers of the hands seeming to end in points like they were claws this caused by his reincarnation as a wraith like the body being made of smoke is.

Race: Wraith/Charoda

Pet: Black Dragonfish

Pet Powers:
- Flight
- Breathing outside of water
- Flame-Water Conversion: Able to breathe in flames and convert them within it to water which it then releases, large amounts of fire able to be used to create an area in which Charoda can breathe easily if a container large enough is nearby, the reverse only capable if there is a small source of fire it can use to ignite gasses the water would be converted into inside of it

Attribute: Neutral, slightly able to be influenced more easily so by evil than by good though will remain mostly neutral doing as they feel would benefit them more

Element: Fire

Powers:
- Fish communication: Lyeru had at a young age due to the many species of fish and his own race being like fish learned a way in which he could communicate with the fish life around him and even understand their responses, this only working underwater and only if the fish is close enough to him, some fish unable to be understood due to the difference in their method of communication with others, this being more those that would communicate with visual signs

- Coral Manipulation: A biological feat held by the Charoda, Lyeru can manipulate the growth of coral through an almost magnetic link in parts of the biology of the coral and a Charoda, having only a competent enough skill to manipulate it into shelters due to leaving his people at such a young age. this ability however is not a form of magic however rather being manipulation of a link between himself and coral, this manipulation allowing him to shape it slightly and make it grow faster than normal this however leaving a physical strain on his body mainly in the arms which will hurt more acutely than the rest of his body from the exhaustion and the soreness it causes.

- Wraith Manifestation: Kazuya uses his affinity with fire to create smoke, with small embers forming inside this keeping it in it's form before it is molded, more embers created as more smoke is created around it until the shadowy form is created, holes in the smoke where it's eyes and mouth would be allowing the flames created by the embers inside to be visible as the Wraith form of Kazuya takes this as a physical body possessing it and moving it as if his own, this form can create more fire from manipulation of it's embers.

- Possession: Kazuya may possess Lyeru's body which he dwells within, doing so allows him to force it past normal limits and move where lyeru would normally be incapable of, also able to manipulate outside sources of fire whilst possessing Lyeru

- Manipulation of Fire: Whether from another source or of the fire created from his own Wraith form Kazuya can manipulate it, moving the flames from place to place, extinguishing or increasing the size of the flames or manipulating them in ways to create various techniques such a those listed below:
- Pyro Grenade: By manipulating fire he creates in his Wraith Manifested form creating small condensed balls of flame which he then surrounds with their own smoke the heat energy that was inside the condensed ball of flames builds up until released by Kazuya it will explode outwards the condensed ball of flames expanding outwards, damaging and possibly setting alight any caught within it's blast.
- Whip of Flames: By manipulating fire in the surrounding area whether from himself in his manifested form or from the surroundings Kazuya creates a whip of flames, each individual ember lined up in such a manner that if part of the whip hit you the fire would undoubtedly cause some effect on anything without resistance to fire.
- Burning Shield: By manipulating fire in the surrounding area whether from himself in his manifested form or from the surroundings Kazuya creates a shield out of the flames, making the flame condensed and more potent than he normally would use it, this being used as a mean of defending himself from attacks however the flames are still with limits in what they can burn, stone being one of these things and water weakening the shield.

Bio: Kazuya started life as a hybrid, of human and of elven descent, his mother a Dark Elf his father a human from a nearby village. He was raised away from town inside both a cabin in the woods at times and at other times underground, in caverns his mother had lived most of her life within. At the age of 44 [at which time he appeared 21] Kazuya had decided to venture the world to see some of what it had to offer before returning home to his parents to tell of it, his time spent underground along with his half Dark Elven heritage making him look like a dark elf more than a human, this appearance along with rumors about dark elves having made the villagers he saw hate him without waiting to learn anything about him, believing him a trickster and evil without giving him any chance to redeem himself in their eyes. A Group of humans had one night decided to act upon their hatred of him, finding him in the middle of a street and dragging him away to a spot unseen by others, beating him to the point which he felt death would soon be upon him, this not happening however as the men were chased away by creatures which rose from the ground, their forms completely skeletal something Kazuya had never heard of. These skeletal figures were raised by a Necromancer who had been nearby and had seen the trouble that one who appeared to be a dark elf was receiving from humans, the Necromancer's generally evil nature along with believing the elven male's to be the same causing him to want to help him, the humans were that night found half dead outside the local tavern, the skeletons raised from the ground around Kazuya leaving them in fear the men believing it was Kazuya who had summoned the skeletons. Kazuya had left the village with the necromancer, living with them a short time and learning of their ability, becoming friends with them before going to return home, knowing that most towns would probably react to him the same as the first he had stayed in had, the necromancers sending a raised skeleton with him for protection from the townsmen on his way home. This protection however proved not enough as the townsfolk who had heard from the group of Kazuya being a necromancer as the group had assumed, prepared themselves for battle, grabbing up arms and the blacksmith forging weapons for those who had none, this causing Kazuya's trip back hom to have been fatal murdered by the townsfolk he had at first sought to befriend and was merely trying to pass. After Kazuya's death the Skeleton had took upon itself to attack the villagers who it had been defending Kazuya from, it's knowledge of Kazuya's death transmitted to it's summoner who had came soon after a small battalion of raised figures with him who quickly overpowered the townsfolk who despite armed had little knowledge in real combat, taking Kazuya's body with him the necromancer traveled, finding a group of humanoids who were peaceful towards him and the dark elf, even saddenned by the knowledge of the part dark elven comrade of his having been killed by humans, after telling them of the story he had knew of Kazuya's life he had told them of something he believed was able to bring him back, a method of necromancy which would bring him back as a wraith however the necromancer needed a body which to tie it to someone to hold him in this plane of existence. A Charoda who had from a young age wanted to see the outside world volunteered to be the host something none of the others were willing to do, not knowing of what consequences it may have had. The charoda who volunteered only 14 at the time was soon bonded to Kazuya's spirit which had been pulled back into this plane of existence as a wraith, a being of smoke with powers over flames created by necromancy, after this the necromancer had given Kazuya a final goodbye, wishing him a more peaceful life in this second chance at life than what his first had brought about.

Lyeru, the Charoda who had made himself the host for Kazuya's wraith-like embodiment was a kind person as most of his race was, and was nearly defenseless, Kazuya taking it upon himself to protect the male whose body tied him to the world knowing that from how he was he wouldn't be able to defend himself against those who threatened him, Kazuya possessing him or even forming his own Wraith body outside that of the male whenever they were threatened in their travels, often leaving those who had attacked them unable to do so again. Lyeru knowing of Kazuya's hatred towards humans had often tried to avoid villages he knew they lived within, the first they had entered of such leading to Kazuya almost trying to kill all of, believing humans to be worthy of such a thing, only stopped from doing so by Lyeru's pleading with him, wanting to have peace with the humans rather than fight. Lyeru had within the years together often had to find a water source in which to swim, doing so to allow him to breathe properly being a water-dwelling being in nature with extended time on land not proving well for his chance of survival Kazuya at times having needed to possess his body to force him to a water source if he had been outside of such for more than a week, being too weak himself to move. At the age of 16 Lyeru had found himself living in near harmony with Kazuya the two being balanced, with Kazuya aggressive and strong enough to defend them if threatened though Lyeru calm and peaceful enough to keep them out of fights and generally friendly towards most beings, the only of such Lyeru was unable to get Kazuya to be completely peaceful towards being humans who he at the most would bear the presence of but would not become friendly towards. Kazuya's control of flames that came with hi9s form however being average less than that of mages who controlled flames or other beings, true wraiths who were dark spirits having much more control than himself his skill in the use of the flames being only enough to keep him and Lyeru safe. During their travels they had come across a lake with various sea creatures who seemed to have the capability to fly, often doing so for a time and then returning to the water, one particular fish among these having created a gas like substance that when Kazuya started a campfire nearby, lit, the creature then breathing in the lames it had semi-created and turned them into water which it dropped below, a power it seemed none of the other fish had, the gasses made as most likely a defense mechanism to guard it against larger predators. The creature like a dragonfish in shape and black in color had intrigued the pair who had stayed for a week watching it create flammable gas and water for a few nights, noticing that the other fishes were less likely to jump out of the water and fly after this had happened, the falling water having caused more oxygen to be pushed in and oxygenating more of the lake the oxygen being what they were flying to get. after this week Lyeru had confronted the creature able to speak both a more human language shared by most creatures and his own language which underwater was quite melodius, though above water seemed little more thank shrieks. Conversing with the dragonfish under the water having and understanding for fish-like creatures he had since he was young he was able to convince it to accompany them as they traveled. At the age of 18 Lyeru had heard of a school which taught those with powers believing the place somewhere he and Kazuya could grow both more control over their abilities and meet others skilled in things from places they had yet to see he had decided he had wanted to go there, hearing that any who made it to the school had achieved entrance, something that made him feel that he and Kazuya were likely to be accepted if they found their way to the school, soon after beginning their travel there to try to enroll.

not really sure I did too well with the bio/appearance sections, first time I've done a character like this, and considering they were each over 2 lines in notepad [the bio somewhere about 8 lines] they're long, which probably makes it worse if I did mess up much with them due to amount I'd have to replace ^^"

thanks for accepts.. I just noticed a sort of double up on dorm room choice I think with accepted apps though when I was going through looking at others, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Irnstead on the first page have a character with 3b [dorm I chose when I made app and posted (I was going by the dorm room thing in main thread instead of looking at peoples apps as all before me were accepted and I thought they'd be on there... not blaming Satix or anyone higher up in this rp for this as i probably should of checked apps as well before posting my app.)] and Auron's Shiro has same dorm room as Banshee's character, these being single rooms since the second floor / #b dorms are all singles aren't they?

 

I was reading from the taken dorms list in the main thread but at the time I read it whilst I was making my character most of the second floor rooms were still empty in the list so it was probably a update or two of it back or something ><"..

and sorry ^^" didn't notice that Auron's wasn't accepted If I'd of noticed that I wouldn't of bothered saying about that bit..
