    Biology
Wippor is a blue amphibious Pokémon that resembles a upright axolotl. Wippor’s arms are somewhat long when compared to its body, and no noticable differences between male or female. Wippor walks with two large, toe-less feet and has a long thick tail. On its belly, 3 purple crescent markings can be seen.
Wippor, despite their appearance, have been proven to be quite intelligent- able to learn human actions, writing, and in some cases- sign language. Unlike other Pokémon, Wippor are mute. It is unknown why, research on the species is still on-going.
They live exclusively within the vicinity of Lake Valor, and are protected there. Wippor often stay in the water, surfacing to get food and the occasional interaction with their caretakers- the many people maintaining the lake. When on land, they coat themselves in a slimy coat; unlike Wooper, it’s not toxic but can leave a strange sensation after being held for too long.

    Theory
Though not confirmed, many believe Wippor came into being due to after effects of Team Galactic’s bombing years ago. This correlates with when Wippor started to appear in the lake, and that they naturally occur only in Lake Valor.

    Breeding
Wippor have not been reported to breed, however they are born from Wooper nests within Lake Valor, making Wooper a rarer Pokémon within the area. Their Eggs are the same as Wooper Eggs visually, so a Breeder can not tell what they have bred until they hatch.

    Human Interaction
As a protected species, Wippor often grow up being watched over, played with, and tended to by humans. In turn, Wippor often pick up traits from the humans tending to them, and as a species has revealed a love of mimicry and often dress up to assist in the mimicking. Many find Wippor a wonderful partner to have once properly taught.

Shiny Wippor are just as rare as other Shiny Pokémon.

    Battle
Wippor are lax and often do not engage in Pokémon battles, but have been spotted using a few moves. These moves are: Water Gun, Mud Shot, Tail Whip, and Yawn. It is presumed they learn moves that Wooper and Quagsire would, no signature moves have been documented thus far. Their stats are similar to a Wooper’s, except they have slightly more Attack than Defence.
