Cynthia or Lance?

I like lance a lot. -v- Every time he seems to pop up in the anime, he's always on an investigation of some sort. Plus he's got awesome Pokémon on his team >:'3

 

Lance took me like five tries. And he's just really awesome, I like his attire, the way he talks, and his Pokémon. And gawwwwddd his themesong.

 

Yeah, Lance is the oldschool badass champion, I have to go with him..and also because I haven't actually faced Cynthia in a Gen 4 game, so yeah, that's going to skew it. But whatever. Lance.

 

Lance Puts up one Hell of a Fight. Perfect for training Pokémon

 

Cynthia, I remember fighting her in Diamond. It came down to my Torterra VS her Garchomp. In the end I won!

 

Lance all the way. Cynthia was too easy to beat.

 

Both were good champions. I choose Lance because he gives you a better challenge ( I'm not saying that Cynthia doesn't ) and he uses dragon types

 

I'm going with Cynthia on this one. My main complaint is this: Lance, do you REALLY need 3 Dragonites? Is that necessary? Sure, Lance has a good theme. Sure, Lance uses Dragons (my favorite type, btw). Cynthia, on the other hand, just is better to me. She has a diverse team (a pretty good one in Platinum, same for B/W and B/W2) ans she treats you more like an old friend than a challenger.

 

I prefer Lance since his team just rules and his character design is awesome. Also took me probably 10 times to beat Lance while in Pearl and Platnium, I breezed through the whole E4

 

I would have to go for Lance. Lance gave one heck of a fight in the battles I've had with him. Cynthia, I mopped the floor with her easily >.>

 

Lance puts up a challenge but Cynthia is a total noob.

 

Lance is a boss!! I love Dragon types alot! Plus Cynthia was overall very strange and a target for fan art xD

 

Cynthia, cause I like her team better and she treats you like a friend.

In all seriousness, I think Cynthia is the better champion. She was very well-developed, and had just enough character to get her on the "befriends the player" level. She didn't just stick to one type with her Pokémon, she used all different types, which I really think should be seen more. I also think Lance's battle music is a tad overrated. Cynthia's blends elegance and intensity into a smoothie of a perfect champion battle.

 

Cynthia for me. She just seems like this really awesome big sister. Plus, I really really love her design! She looks so much cooler than Lance, for me.

 

Cynthia easily got a vote from me. Her team was much more balanced when it comes to types. The thing that really got me to like Cynthia more was how she was shown in the anime. I can't be the only one who found her standing at those food stands being completely unable to decide what to get hilarious. It was funny. She was able to read and understand the meaning of the quote, "When one life meets another life, something will be born," yet she stands by food stands for hours not knowing what to get. The whole idea of that amuses me.

 

I really like both, but I think I'll go with Cynthia! I took out Lance easily, but I found Cynthia to be a slight challenge

 

Lance Lance LANCE! He's just so awesome. Plus his signature Pokémon Dragonite is also my all-time favorite Pokémon.

I also liked the fact that Lance seemed like an active Champion, considering that he helps Ethan/Kris/Lyra fight against Team Rocket.

 

I love Cynthia, and all, but I'm with Lance on this one. He took me a couple of tries to beat, but it was still fun, unlike some other battles.
