Do you enjoy dancing for points and competition? What kind of dancing games do you play? Why do you enjoy them? How often do you play them? On the flipside, why don't you like them? Have you ever tried to get yourself into them?

The only kind of dancing I know how to do is not easily videogame-danceable. I can do ballroom dances with a partner (waltz, salsa, a little bit of foxtrot and swing), but solo-in-a-group party dances and all that? Completely outside my wheelhouse.

I tried DDR one time and quite frankly hated it, partly for the style reason above. It felt more like a bug-stomping game than something fun like dancing. Just... meh.

I'll have you know that I'm actually really, really good at DDR. I don't really enjoy it as much as I enjoy other types of games, so I don't know why I'm good at it. I don't really like it much because it's really hard to step in just the right place at just the right time. I get a little too frustrated when I miss something not because of slow reaction time but because my foot was two inches to the right of the center of the dancepad.

I'm halfway decent at StepMania (a DDR sim for the PC)--I can read Light mode and Standard mode some of the time, but forget Heavy mode and Challenge mode

I once played DDR when I was really young, and managed a perfect score even though I didn't actually know that I was supposed to follow the arrow thingies, I was just kind of pressing on stuff XD.

Anywho, a lot of my friends and family like playing Just Dance... and to be frank I just hate it! I'm already kind of awkward when comes to dancing, but when I play Just Dance, there are patterns I have to follow and I'm also pressured to do well. I just don't have fun when I play dance games, sadly :(.

    YO THIS MY TOPIC

Rythm games are the only games that I am somewhat good at. I've been playing DDR since I was about four years old, and I follow every game in the series. I love all rythm games, it's my number one weakness. I can spend hours on end just messing around on Stepmania or Project Diva. It's definitely my favorite video game genre.

Well, I've been dancing for almost eleven years now, so I guess I should be extremely good at it
I don't own any dance games myself, but I do remember our class googling Just Dance videos. We would always dance together whenever the teacher allowed us to. It was so much fun!
    Ahhh... Nostalgia ^^
