Soo, how to start. Well thanks for checking out my original story! Right now it's a one-shot as I'm not sure about how to go about it. Although I'd like to hear/see how people react to it before deciding for real. Nothing more to say to on we go!

"Where... Where am I?"
As the dust settles among the barren field, golden brown eyes peered around. These eyes belonged to a man whom many would consider 'wimpy', this body frail and height small, he was overall nothing too impressive. Despite this though, his eyes showed little fear, granted they mostly showed confusion. Letting out a cough that was caused by the dust, that seemed to be getting denser by the second even though it had originally been disappearing, the man started to walk forward.
"This place, it seems almost unnatural. Why is it so silent?"
As he walked the man looked around nervously, the only sound accompanying him being the sand-like surface beneath his feet that crunched slightly beneath his weight. As his gaze travelled across the 'desert' he got glimpses of the sand move around as if it was being blown by the wind, but he couldn't hear nor feel the wind around him. Quickening his pace he started to climb a hill in a desperate attempt to find some form of life, even if it was unable to associate with him. As he approached the top he got a feeling of dread, as if he wouldn't like what is at the top of the hill.
Finally reaching the top, his golden brown orbs gazed upon the ruins of a former village, a village that seemed so familiar to him yet he couldn't recall why. The village looks rather old, as if it had been centuries since it had any form of life come into contact with it, he swore that if he blew on a wall the entire thing would collapse. As his gaze travelled across the ruins, he heard a crack behind and him and quickly span around with frantic eyes.
What he saw would haunt him for a long time, it was him. The same hazel hair that cascaded down to his shoulders, the same frame and signs of weakness and even the same clothes. Despite this though, two things stood out to him. The spear that was in the double ganger's right hand, and the two pools of inky blackness that stared at him as if judging his soul. Something that rightfully made the man feel as if his very thoughts were being exposed.
Before he could try to initiate a conversation the broken mirror image of himself seemed to let out an animalistic snarl before lunging at him with the spear. Golden-brown eyes widened, foot tripped over foot and a scream rang out in the silence of the desolate wasteland.
"Wai-WAIT!"

Slichk

The sound of ringing broke the silence causing a frail body to quickly sit up, golden-brown eyes looking around frantically whilst two hands gripped the left side of the body's chest. After this carried on for a few more seconds, the alarm went off and the man calmed. Sighing to himself, the man spoke in a resentful voice, "Another dream? When will they end?" Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth, the man stood up and away from the mattress that he was just sleeping in. Rubbing his eyes for a second, he started to head towards a door on the left side of the room only to stop when a shout sounded out,
"Hey boy! You up? Could do with some help ova' here!"
Groaning to himself, the golden-brown eyed man responded with a voice full of resignation, "I'm coming, Jim!" Shaking his head to get rid of the figurative cobwebs he walked across the room and left through a door on the opposite end of before, bypassing a mirror on his way.
If he stayed for a second later he would see that his reflection never followed him, it just stayed still and was frozen like ice, ice that suddenly broke the reflection span and followed the man with pitch black eyes and a snarl on its face.
