Staring at the gathered crowd as the announcement ended, Rai rubbed the scar on his chin softly. 'Sounds like things are about to become more lively' He thought to himself, his gaze catching Kimat as he moved towards him. Silently nodding in greeting his eyes returned back to the crowd while listening to his co-worker. Hearing the suggestion, he grunted in approval. "Yeah, you're probably right." Straightening up from the slouch he found himself in, he began to walk over to the rest of the crowd trusting that the Absol would be right behind him.
"Heh, my turn," The Zorua smiled slightly, and started walking towards the guild master. He sat down, and waved a little red paw at the crowd that had gathered. "Hello, my name is Zachary. I'm in charge of the Recycle Shop, which is on the right side of the Guild hall. If you need to recycle and if your unneeded items, just come over here! I'm there most of the time, so don't be afraid to come over!" Since he wasn't sure what else to say, he stepped back, and listened to what some of the other Pokémon in the growing group had to say.
Ignatius looked up and noticed the approaching Electabuzz and Absol duo. "And let us not forget these two," he said poignantly. "These two are your guardsmen, your shield against the enemies that would threaten us. Already, they've fended off more than a few wild Pokémon attacks. I reckon you'll become rather familiar with them as time goes on." He stepped away from the mound, gesturing for Rai and Kimat to introduce themselves.
Mystle shook a little as he realized that everyone was introducing themselves and floated a little higher. He blushed a little and cleared his throat. "*ahem*... Hello, I'm Mistiltainn, but you can call me Mystle. I'll be serving as the general practitioner of this town... So, if you require any medical attention or herbal remedies, from scratches to fractures, from poisoning to paralysis, be sure to hop on by!" he said gleefully. "I'm sure that we'll get along fine!" Mystle then floated towards the Zorua, and gave a huge grin as a greeting before sitting down next to him.
Eira nudged her brother and both of them started giggling softly at the speech that Ignatius was making about the town's Security Force. To them, Rai just looked like a giant teddy bear. Klimat was a bit of a different story, but they didn't deal with him too much to have a clear opinion on the scarred Absol. He was a bit gruff it seemed, but he always got the job done. The Vulpix Twins were brimming with excitement at finally being able to start working and getting more people to visit the guild.
Kimat followed Rai's lead, eventually reaching the area where the others previously introduced themselves. As the pair approached, Ignatius acknowledged them and mentioned them to the crowd. Kimat nodded to the Guildmaster in appreciation. Kimat straightened his ragged navy-blue scarf before speaking. "My name is Kimat, I'm the head of the guard in town. If any of you spot any trouble or have concerns, talk to me or to my associate." He gestured to Rai as he finished, then took a small step back to give him the limelight.
Scanning the crowd with a narrowed gaze as Kimat introduced him, Rai huffed in satisfaction at finding no threat so when it was his time to step up, he did so without hesitation. "My name is Rai, like Kimat mentioned if you find any sort of trouble, even if just suspected, speak to one of us." Finishing his introduction off with a grunt, he turned around and nodded to Zimat and Ignatius before exiting the crowd.
As Blake watched intently at every single Pokémon that was introducing themselves. He felt like he too wanted to introduce himself, but deep down, he knew it was spointless. He didn't have a part-time job, so he knew it would be a waste of their time. He just stayed quiet, and watched as everybody else intoduced themselves.
Ignatius, having heard the recruits' and residents' introductions, stood up again at the top of the mound. "Each of you has come here for a reason. My dream is that each and every one of you may find something here, something that fulfills you. Never stop searching for that thing," he encouraged them with a grin. "Before you go back to work this morning, join us in the café for breakfast. Get to know your fellow Pokémon. After all, it's still early in the morning." He receded down the path to the guild, beckoning for them to follow. As he passed Kai and Eira, he whispered to them, "Food and drink are on the house this morning. I can cover the cost."
"Yes, sir! Will do!" Eira whispered back quickly before gaining everyone's attention. "To celebrate the opening of the Fox Tale Guild and its facilities, the first drink and meal are on the house, today only. So, come on in and have fun!" Kai had already started trotting back to the guild, knowing that he would need to start prepping the ingredients really quick as there would be a lot of orders coming in soon enough. Eira went quickly after her brother into the guild to open the bar and start making the drinks, she would need a lot of ice. She saw Kai slip into the kitchen and soon enough delicious smells started wafting from the opening. She quickly took her place after the bar and checked if she had everything. The snowy fox nodded happily as everything was as she left it, now she only needed the customers.
Muni looked over as he noticed Angeni was headed for the cafe. With a small sigh, he followed, unsure of what to do once there. "I can't believe that the guild is finally open, you can go and apply now, right?" Angeni smiled, asking her sibling. Muni, in response, shrugged slightly. He was ready to join, but wasn't the best with words. "Do I need to ask for you?" The litwick teased, only to earn a sudden glare at her joking words.
Ignatius sighed as he left. An interesting bunch indeed. Entering through the guild's wide open doors, he went upstairs to return to his quarters. Blaire, meanwhile, walked over to the café to place an order. She would have to get to work soon herself. With a knowing smile, she leaned against the counter and looked at the Alolan Vulpix. "Roasted Apricorn, if you could," she said politely. "And tea with a dollop of honey. You know the way I like it, Eira."
"Coming right up, Blairie!" Eira called out as she used her limited psychic powers to start her magic behind the counter. Kai had shouted to her that he had heard Blaire's order and that it would be there in a minute. Eria was multitasking, making sure to keep a log for Ignatius to be able to purchase the new stocks, and making the tea for Blaire. THe twins made quick work of it and the piping hot food was delivered quickly to the bi-pedal fox. "Enjoy your meal, Blaire!" Eira called as she went to take orders from other customers.
Angeni looked around, before politely asking the Alolan Vulpix, "Uhm, what would you recommend for today?" She had little idea on what would be on the usual menu, and didn't want to bother with it. Muni, on the other hand, placed a Oran and a Pecha that he had 'borrowed' from his sister's shop. "Can you mix these into a drink?" He surveyed the cafe, barely paying attention to the fox he was speaking to.
Blaire smiled gave Eira a quick wink. "Thanks a million, you two," she said before finding a table with three other chairs. She sat down and began to sip the tea. Steaming hot with a hint of sweetness and the earthy flavors she loved. And the Apricorns: scrumptious, with a flavorful texture. Those two were a killer team. So she sat down and looked up at the ceiling, sighing. She was exhausted with thought.
"Hello, we recommend the plate with baked apricorn or the Pecha berry pie today. I also have some good Razz berry smoothies and juices if you are fond of them." Eira responded to the Litwick with a smile. She then took the berries from Muni and nodded, one of her dry sweet juices for the Alolan Meowth. "Sure, that is really easy, Muni. Just wait a second for me to make the drink." The snowy Vulpix prepared a nice cool drink for the dark-type and quickly set it on the counter before turning to make some drinks for the explorer team that Klimat had brought home earlier.
(Oh my gosh you just reminded me of the fact I once stated that Pecha Pie is Angeni's favorite dessert! X'D) Muni took his drink with a short "Thanks", taking a drink. The meowth nearly choked at the mention of 'Pecha Berry Pie' and knew of the small, plesant 'eruption' that was about to begin. Angeni lit up, literally, at that. "Can I have three slices of Pecha pleaseee~?" Muni considered pouring abit of his drink onto her flame to prevent any accidental burns, or Arceus forbid, fires from starting in the cafe. Luckily Angeni calmed herself down enough for him to just put his cup down onto the counter again. "Don't eat the whole entire pie again, please.. You're such a pain to deal with when hyped up on sugar."
"Sure, they will be coming soon. Kai is almost done with the new batch, so it shouldn't take long." Eira called out from her spot a little further down the counter, giving the drinks to her thirsty customers. It wasn't long before she could hear Kai call her. "Pecha Berry pie is done. Eria, come get them." She quickly willed her psychic powers to grab the plates and put them in front of Angeni. "Here you go. Please take a seat anywhere in the guild and get to know the others." She recommended before leaping away again.
Angeni beamed, taking the plate. "Thank you." She went to sit down, Muni following to insure she didn't over do it on the sweet dessert-like breakfast.
At the mention of the café, Kimat's stomach growled. He didn't realize how hungry he really was; he hadn't eaten since rescuing the Exploration Team earlier in the morning. Food, however, could wait for a moment. He had another matter to attend to. "Ignatius!" the Absol called out after the Guildmaster. "If you have a moment, I'd like a word with you."
