Mystle yawned a little and floated into the café and headed straight for the bar after noticing that others were doing so as well. As he looked at the pictures in the menu, Mystle's mouth started to water. "Perhaps, I ought to have some of this... No, rather, maybe that too..." he thought to himself. "Aaaaah! There are so many choices!" he shouted excitedly and after realising his social faux-pas, he shyly looked away for a bit and continued in a much softer tone. "E-Excuse me... I think I'd like to order a Razz Smoothie... And if you could mix this into my drink..." he said as he placed a sachet of Heal Powder and a Pomeg Berry on the counter. "...I'd be most obliged. Of course, I'll pay extra for your efforts." he added.
Blake was about to return to bed to get a few more hours of rest, but when they mentioned the café, he knew he could spare a couple more hours. When he made it to the café, he went straight towards the bar. 'Hmm, what do I want. Maybe something sweet?' He thought to himself. "Umm, hi. I would like to order some pie, add any sweet ingredient to it, surprise me. And to drink, I would like an Oran Berry smothie. Would that be alright?" He asked.
After the guildmaster was done with his announcement, and had retired to his quarters, Zachary chuckled as he watched more and more Pokémon walk over to the Star Ball Cafe. He considered going back to his shop to work on it a little bit more, but... it wouldn't hurt to grab a bite to eat. "Eira and Kai wouldn't mind making another order for me anyways," He thought to himself, slowly walking over to the cafe. The Zorua made sure to stand by the order table, and after a couple minutes of wondering what to get, he said, "I think I'm going to get an Oran Berry shake, with a roasted Apricorn on the side!" While he waited for his food to be ready, he waited at one of the cafe's seats, thinking about some of the other Pokémon that had started to gather. Most of them seemed pretty nice, although the Electabuzz looked rather annoyed all the time. Overall, they seemed nice... a lot better than what he'd seen before.
"Mr. Mystle, the first drink order is free, so no need to pay me. And I will gladly do that for you. I will be right back with the order." Eira smiled as she noted down the order. "Let's see, one special Razz berry smoothie for Mr. Mystle. Some Pecha pie and Oran Berry smoothie for the Ralts. And lastly, second breakfast for Zachery." Here she looked at the Zorua with a weird glint in her eyes. Soon enough, all the orders were done and Eira quickly delivered them to the customers. Kai was helping her as their psychic powers weren't strong enough yet to carry that much at once by themselves. "One special smoothie for Mr. Mystle, enjoy!" She told the Phanthum before going to deliver Zachery's order. She just placed it on his table and trotted back to the counter. Kai just grumbled as he placed the Pecha pie and the Oran smoothie in front of the Ralts. He wasn't a waiter, he was a cook, damn it.
"Thank you!" Mystle smiled and took a long sip from the drink. It was tasty and cold, and he savoured every drop of the deep red liquid. "Delicious!" he squeaked and casually placed some money on the counter nonetheless. "If they won't accept payment, then at least let them accept this tip." As he continued drinking, Mystle let out a sigh of both content and malcontent. The former was due to the smoothie, and the latter... due to the amount of administrative forms he still had to fill out at home. He whinged slightly at the thought of having to fill them all in. His gaze drifted towards the Zorua again, and, after the very last drop of smoothie got swallowed, Mystle stood up. He decided to play a prank, and Phantom Force'd his way behind Zachary. "Boo!" he said startlingly, and smiled widely. "You're the fella from the Recycle Shop, right?"
After making a trip through the small town, Rai arrived outside the café and glanced at it with a frown. 'One drink won't hurt, things have been quiet tonight'. He reaffirmed to himself, entering the café and approaching the bar. Tiredly Rai scanned all the options, none standing out to him. With a sigh, he glanced down at one of the Vulpix twins, Eira if he remembered correctly. "I'll have anything, make it a surprise." He requested gruffly, feeling out of place surrounded by such a joyous atmosphere.
Ignatius stopped halfway up the stairs and turned back, looking at the Absol. "Kumquat, was it?" he asked, making sure he remembered. "I have good memory, but learning everyone's name seems to be causing me some difficulty." He beckoned Kimat up the stairs with his tails. "Come. Let's walk and talk." Blaire looked around and hummed, sipping her tea slowly and appreciatively. New people. She was getting a bit nervous, but a smile crossed her face anyway. New people were fun, after all. Taking one more look at the bar, she saw an Electabuzz placing his order. She waved to Rai at the bar, trying to get him to come over, though he was still focused on Eira while his order was fulfilled. She even kicked out a seat in hopes he would join her.
As blake finishes eating his pie, he desides to take a look around the café. As he does this, he comes to see some familiar faces. But the one that stands out most is a very specific litwick, looking too eager to be eating Pecha Berry pie. 'You should talk to her, you wont make any friends by sitting around and doing nothing.' he though to himself. He stood up from his seat, and began to make his way towards the pie eating ghost. Once he was near, he began to feel nervous. "Umm, hi. Arent you the litwick from the berry farm?" Blake asked.
After Eira had given the Zorua his food, he had decided to sit down and try to eat some. He was hoping to at least talk to some of the Pokémon there, as some of them seemed rather interesting. He did not, however, want to be jump scared into one. He heard a rather loud, "Boo!", and practically fell out of his seat. After recovering from the initial shock, the Zorua soon realized that it was Mystle, the Phantump that had been sitting beside him before. "Hey there," He smiled, sticking out a paw to the Phantump. "Yeah, I take care of the Recycle Shop here. It's nice to meet you." After a moment of wondering what to say next, he took a sip from his drink and said, "What do you do around here? You seem like a nice Pokémon anyways."
"It's Kimat." The Absol restrained from groaning as he corrected the Guildmaster. He joined Ignatius and continued up the stairs. "I'll just cut to the chase," Kimat began, unconsciously lowing his voice a little. "I brought another one of your Exploration Teams back early this morning. I understand this Guild is young, but you can't keep sending kids - kids - to do the work of experienced teams. They just aren't ready for such dangerous work. These kids could die, and I'm willing to bet you don't want that to happen." Kimat sighed, lowering his head. He'd let some of his penned-up irritation out, but at the wrong time and to the wrong person. "I'm sorry, but I'm awfully frustrated that I keep having to save kids when your... ambitious jobs fall apart." A part of him feared how Ignatius would react to his outburst.
Ignatius was silent for but a moment. Despite the frustration, there was a nugget of truth to Kimat's concerns. Even if they weren't entirely selfless. "While your tone is less than noteworthy, I will excuse it on account of the truth you speak," he said, breathing a deep sigh. "Perhaps you're right. Perhaps I uphold too lofty a standard." They made their way upstairs to his office. Artifacts and keepsakes lined the walls in shelves, and a circular rug covered the floor with gold and red patterns. "Still, a plant does not grow if you water it too much," he responded. "I cannot coddle my recruits and expect them to improve."
Angeni looked over, giving Muni enough time to take one of her slices away. "Ah, y-yes I am. I'm Angeni, it's nice to meet you." She smiled-until she realized that a slice was gone. "Muuuniiiii, my pie!" The meowth smirked before ingesting the sweet pastry. "You had two slices. Two." He emphasized by holding up two fingers, his polydactyly digit twitching slightly from the movement. Angeni sighed and nodded in agreement, realizing that she was, in fact, full.
The Guildmaster's reaction was less harsh than what Kimat expected. The two entered Ignatius' office, and the Absol glanced around at the assortment of items that adorned his walls as he listened to the Ninetails speak. "I understand," Kimat returned, "but you also can't throw them into Sharpedo-infested waters and expect them to return to shore in one piece." He paused, seating himself on the large, ornate rug. "I'm not certain, but I get a feeling these Dungeons are growing more dangerous by the day. Exploring them is growing increasingly risky." His own experience in the Mystery Dungeon earlier in the morning was a testament to that. He'd rescued another team from that same Dungeon a few days earlier, and this time around, he noticed a handful of stronger Pokémon inhabiting the Dungeon. Kimat welcomed these new opponents, though - he welcomed any challenge of his strength.
"Oh, so you two know eachother? Are you two friends from work, or just acquaintances?" Blake asked the Litwick, Meowth duo. 'Nice question genius, that totally didn't sound dumb' He though to himself, still not knowing how to start a conversation. 'Now she's gonna thing your stupid.'
Mystle beamed as he took the Zorua's paw with both hands and shook them vigorously. He carefully observed the Zorua as he tried to take a seat next to him. "Nice to meet you, too~!" Mystle cheered. "I bet it's a tough job to run a store all by yourself! ... Oh, me? I'm the general practitioner around these parts." "I also make herbal medicine and potions, but those often taste..." the Phantump said as he began to fidget a little. "... Too bitter for consumer use, so I still have to work a lot on making them more palatable. But, I can assure you that there's no better cure in town than my medicine!" Mystle added and puffed out his chest a little with pride. "You seem to be very kind as well, mister Zachary! Where do you hail from?" Mystle asked intently, curious about this Dark-type's origins.
Blake was actually very surprised by that answer. He honestly didnt expect for theese two individuals to be siblings. 'How does a Litwick and a Meowth become siblings? Beats me. They're probably addopted siblings.' He thought to himself, satisfied with his own mental answer. "So, hows the farm life? Can't be that dificult when you jave your sibling to help you around." He asked, trying to start a conversation.
"Actually, Muni's applying to join the guild later. I don't mind though, back home I was doing most of my family's farm work by myself too. Plus, the soil is much better here than it was back in my village, growing big, nutritious berries is much easier!" Angeni smiled, cleaning her plate. Muni got up at that, picking up the dirty dishes and putting them away. He stared, then hesitantly approached the Braxien. "...Excuse me...small question?"
That quickly caught Ignatius' attentions. The possibility that dungeons were growing more dangerous was something he had not considered. Indeed, it was something he feared. "That is troublesome," Ignatius mused. "Wild Pokémon are not cheap, gypsy wanderers. Indeed, must be a reason for this unorthodox migration, and I have a feeling it is not a seasonal matter." He paced in a circle, tracing the perimeter of the rug, his eyes burrowing down at the floor. He griped at the floor with his claws. He did not want to do it, but the survival of their guild demanded it. "I will go, then," Ignatius said boldly. "If the dungeons are too dangerous, then I will survey them and find one that is not. I will keep a map and notes of dungeons that I find to be suitable for our apprentices." Blaire looked up from her tea to greet the stranger. Ah, the Alolan Meowth. She quickly remembered him. "Yes? What can I do to help?" she asked, courteous and gleeful. she gestured to a seat nearby, offering it to him
"You're serious," Kimat blinked, seeing the determination in the Guildmaster's eyes. Kimat's initial surprise faded as he recalled Ignatius' reputation and skill as an explorer. The Absol opened his mouth to retort, but forced it shut; he'd already annoyed the Guildmaster enough with his accusations. Ignatius was more than capable of the task, but he was also the head of a fledgling Guild, a Guild that needed a strong leader to look to. Shouldn't he stay here, leading the people who rallied behind him? Who, then, would scout out the Dungeons to find one that was ideal for training? Kimat already knew an answer to that question. "You're taking a pretty big risk, Ignatius," the Absol said quietly, lowering his head, "but I won't try to talk you out of this."
