I'm sure that most of us know what this by this point in our lives, and have for the most part experienced it (screw you Arizona). If you don't know what it is by this point, then you're good at hiding under a rock, as it's happening again right now, or it's already happened depending on where you live.

Do you like Daylight Saving Time? If so, then why are so edgy? If you're normal, then why do you hate Daylight Saving Time? Should we eliminate it?

These questions aren't biased at all welp

Also, I know why Daylight Saving Time is a thing, I read the history and I get why it was established, it's just... ew.

For once, I think Arizona has the right idea. Not only is Daylight Savings not useful, it's actually harmful on the first day of the change: vehicular-caused deaths spike, corporate productivity plummets, and everyone generally feels like garbage for the first day, if not the first half-week of it happening.

These days, in the age of light-sensing streetlamps and less big-fire-circle-in-sky centric life, we have absolutely no reason to keep with this archaic (sorta-old) practice, and I long for the day it is retired from modern life around the globe, like imperial units of measure.

Edit: What the fart? Five minutes ago it was almost 2:00 and now it's already past 3 AM! WHY! I just got home 30 minutes ago and I need to be awake in four hours! WHHHYYY!

I actually do not know for sure if Western Australia still practices it... I guess I just don't notice it, if at all.

Tends to trip me up at times, for like a week or so. When it's in effect, I never know whether to just say GMT time or GMT+1 time. </3

I'm usually not really affected by the daylight saving time. I know it was introduced to save energy, but with the amount of electricity we use these days, I doubt it's still very useful. Then again, everything we save on energy now can help us in the future...

I've never experienced DST and the only way it's affected me is confusion when attempting to calculate time zones. DST isn't a thing here. An hour wouldn't make a difference, in the winter there's no day and in the summer there's no night.

I'm off today so it doesn't do much to me but normally it's a huge hassle. The truth is that it doesn't do what it used to and is now a useless practice. I grew up with it, I understand it, but that doesn't mean the I LIKE or AGREE with it. In the end though the decision isn't up to me.

Time zones are so strange. I get that it was created to increase productivity and such, but some are utterly unreasonable.
I mean, I'm lucky I live in America because have you seen Australian timezones?

I'm glad WA no longer participates in DST because I remember it was just a hassle when we did. It still is, tbh, because I almost missed an organised game, which was hosted from Victoria, and I was an hour late because I didn't know that they were currently in daylight saving.

Oh, I love Arizona's Daylight Savings, I was just expressing my jealousy of how they don't have to suffer through the utter pains of it. XD
