Do you like to decorate with lights? Whether it be for Halloween, Christmas, New Years, or another festivity, what kind of lights do you like to see? I don't put up lights outside where I live, but I do inside for Christmas. I usually just wrap them around and hang them up like vines. My favorite colors lights are definitely white and blue.
I would if I lived in my own place; I do help put up the lights in my dorm, though. Also, not to go off-topic, but why is the moe-blob stealing Goku's signature move?
Pssssh, Kanna is on a completely different level. Goku's move is described as just energy from what I know. Kanna is an Electric Dragon prodigy. :wooper: Remember folks... if you are setting up lights, remember to be cautious because electricity is no joke!
Ah, so it's an elemental-Kamehameha. Okay. In all seriousness, Goku fights using Qi(Chi), which is the energy inherent within the human body. MatPat did an interesting video about the subject on Film Theory; I recommend a look-see if you're interested, because he explains how the "mystical" power of qi in DBZ is actually plasma, the energy that makes up 99% of the universe. But yes, definitely need to exercise caution when handling anything electrical in nature. One bad wire + one exposed hand = one VERY BAD day.
We used to do this at my house, only for Christmas. The lights were nice and all, so it's not like they weren't pretty to look at, and they looked nice from the street view behind the house. However, if we put the lights up, we would have to take them down again (and I don't live in a place where the tenants are permitted to just leave their lights up all year to save time - they wouldn't be left on, just left up), and the lights would also have a very bad habit of keeping me awake at night, even though they were set on a timer to turn off after 10pm. That, and not many of the neighbours decorated with lights either. So in the end, there wasn't much point to keep doing it, so we stopped. The biggest factor was having to put them up and take them down again, however.
I have fairy lights up in my room all year round! I love warm white fairy lights and the ones in my room can be static or twinkling. I don't really do Christmas decorating but for Halloween I have cute pumpkin fairy lights I put up too!
When we decorate our Christmas tree in our house's living room, we put two series long of lights around the tree. The lights are always in seven to eight or sometimes six colours, I don't remember. Last year or last to last year, we hanged them in the balcony with the disco light bulb and the paper star.
I have fairy lights in my room at home! For Christmas my family just puts up you’re typical lights on the tree and one strand on our house for outside. My roommate on the other hand...her family decorates for Christmas in September so they go all out with lights.
I'm pretty sure putting up lights is my dad's favorite time of the year. He looooooves having lights on the roof, on the tree outside, and on the Christmas tree. He buys new ones every year. They're really pretty, but I personally don't like going through the process of putting them up and taking them down. Too tedious.
We put up lights on Christmas only; my dad usually does it, and I think he really enjoys putting them up. He always looks quite proud when he's all done and we walk past them, even though we only have a string of lights that we hang across the windows. We're not huge on decorations, but we do have a tree up, so it's nice to see that reflecting through the window. Other than Christmas, though, we never have any lights up. (it would be nice if we had more, they're so pretty!)
I keep a set of christmas lights up year round. I use them for mood lighting whenever I feel like it.
I'm that annoying person who drags out the lights two weeks early and occasionally makes lovely 'artful sculptures' with them and then doesn't take them down until a month later. I love using red lights, because they brighten things up without glaring. Nice for night walks. #MissingNo
I like Christmas lights. They're probably the only thing I really enjoy about that time of year. I usually prefer regular white/yellowish white lights. They look like stars. Colored lights look a little too childish to me.
We just have a simple blue and white pair of strands hanging in the Christmas tree. They are always changing the light stand from fast flickering to slow blink to disco spasm, which can be a bit annoying.
