Devil Fruit, Bankai or Jutsu?

I haven't seen much anime, though I have watched a few Bleach episodes. I would have a Bankai, as that's the limit of my knowledge!

 

I'd like both a Bantai and some knowledge of Justu, so I can be swordsman AND a mage! (kinda)

 

Having not seen any of the anime mentioned and going by your descriptions, I have to go with bankai. I like the idea of special powers via weapon, and a weapon morphing shape. I'm a fan of maces and to a lesser extent axes, so a sword that can change into some awesome, bladed flanged mace would be what I would want from a bankai-bro.

 

I would have Jutsu powers. Because some of the crap that happens in Naruto is flippin' awesome.
And also the fact that's the only anime I watched from the three different ones listed.

 

Devil fruit Gomu-gomu power would be so awesome *-* I wouldnt be too late at school anymore with the gomu-gomu no rocket ^^

 

This one's pretty tough to be honest...I don't really know about Bleach, so Bankai is out. I would love to have some sort of Jutsu. Devil Fruits are cool too! I always imagined myself with some Kekkai Genkai related to acids. xD No idea why.

 

Honestly? Jutsu.

Don't get me wrong; devil fruit powers seem like they'd be the most fun, but I wouldn't be able to handle the whole not-being-able-to-swim-again thing. Besides, knowing me I'd probably forget two days after eating the devil fruit and jump in the pool and be in real trouble.

As for Bankai...too restricted. It's a weapon of last resort, and it's only really used in fights that come down to life-or-death situations where you'd have to have had an ungodly amount of training to survive, not to mention acquiring Bankai typically means getting yourself bludgeoned/slashed/beaten something silly...and that's if you take the quick method used by main characters and other people who've ingested massive amounts of plothax. Beyond that, it takes years of training to even reach the minimum skill level. In other words; too much time for too little a reward.

Now jutsu; yes they require some training, but to be honest I'd be sufficiently happy with the ability to run up sheer surfaces, cling to ceilings, and walk on water (and I'm convinced there's a minimal manipulation of chakra that allows them to leap around on trees like Spider-Man). I might try to learn substitution as well, but even the basic stuff would make life far more entertaining.

 

Putting in a good word for bankai mostly because that's the only of these mangas I particularly like. xD

All of the abilities sound pretty cool, though. Having a sword familiar would probably be the best, though? And I can't think of any particular downside to the ability. Plus I've always been a huge fan of weaponry in general, so the idea just appeals to me, heh.
