Did you get X or Y?

Uh, neither, haha. One of my friends was generous enough to lend me his 3DS and Pokémon X game to let me play. I was a little bummed since I was more looking forward to Y, but it was still great to be able to play.

 

I wanted to complete the Pokédex and there was no way to get my brother to buy X, so I had to go with X, but hey I won't complain, since I can get his Yveltal to X via Pokémon bank anyway don't tell him

 

I originally bought X but I won Y from a contest from a Pokémon forum. I'm so happy that I picked Y for it since I enjoyed Y over X.

 

I got Pokémon Y, mainly for Yveltal, and that sweet sweet Y 3DSXL

I'm loving it...I think I'll wait till christmas time to get .....Ruby or sapphire...I just can't decide...I hate aqua though

 

I got Pokémon Y because they ran out of X at my local gamestop, so that was the only option I had at the time. I'm still happy nevertheless with Y.

 

I bought X because all my friends bought Y, I just wanted to be different. Either would have been fine since I dislike both legends.

 

I have both games - two copies of both, in fact, but one copy of X is the one I have all my breeding stuff on and the like. I did so as X has more version exclusives I prefer, including some of my favorites. And Xerneas is cooler than Yveltal for me. The other three copies I basically do challenges on and such.

 

I got Y because I preferred the look of M-Char Y and M-Mew Y as well as Yvetal. I didn't really have any other reasons of choosing one over the other.

 

I chose Y first solely on my hatred of fairies... then got x through the nintendo event thing anyways xD

 

i got Y cause i like the red color on it. X has blue i like blue. but i got red. this time.

 

I got X! I love Xerneas' design, and I ended up trading for an Yveltal, so I have both. I tend to go with the lighter theme, and get my nephew the opposite (I'm buying him OR for christmas while I'm getting AS for release day).

 

All of my friends wanted X, so I was originally going for Y as a means of helping them out with the version-exclusives. But instead I bought X because the version-exclusive Pokémon included all of the ones I liked (particularly the Aron evolutionary line), and I wouldn't have been able to get them otherwise besides through trade. Though when Club Nintendo was hosting the X/Y promotional event I got a downloadable copy of Y for free anyway, marking the first time I've ever owned both versions of a game. ^^ ;

 

Neither, I've become bored with the new Gens, I'm just a sucker for 1-4 (and 5 on a good day.)

 

I got Y purely on the basis of the version mascot.

The choice between a sparkling fairy deer-thing or a giant, soul-devouring dark-type bird of doom really isn't one.

 

I bought both simply because thats what I always do! I got Pokémon Y first though.

 

I bought and played X. Because Xerneas <3 My boyfriend bought and played Y, so I had no real reason to get both.

 

At first, I got X because I wanted to learn more about the new fairy-type plus Xerneas was in it and I loved the way it looks especially in active mode. But then when I went to get my sister a birthday present last year, I bought her and myself Pokémon Y so I can help her through the game since I didn't want to start over my X. So I have both. lol
