Did you soft reset for a specific gender/nature on your starter?

For the Kalos starters, I only SRd so I didn't get a nature that decreased a stat that was good on them. It usually didn't take too long since I wasn't picky.

 

I didn't reset because I really just wanted to enjoy the game without worrying too much about that natures and abilities because it was just for the fun of it all.

 

Nah, I don't have the patience to SR. I just grabbed Froakie and blazed a burning trail through Kalos.

 

When I first got X and Y I still l wasn't very aware of natures so no, I didn't SR. But in my replay of Y I did, for an adamant Chespin.

 

I only reset when the Pokémon had a really crappy nature. I really just go with the flow normally.

 

Yes, I SRd for a female Fennekin with a nature that didn't suck, because I really like having my starters being female (and a female Delphox just made sense). I named her Rusé. I think she had a mild nature or something, I'm not overly picky about the natures, just as long as they aren't atrocious.

 

When I first played XY I was lucky to get a female starter my first pick on both games, and I didn't really care about natures much at that time. When I reset Y I got a female Fennekin first pick but it had a bad nature; second time I got a female it was Modest so that was pretty awesome. Didn't really care about natures in my other X files since I didn't use my starter for one playthrough and wanted to do a non-Super Training run in the recent file.

 

I've never really done that I don't really pay much attention to the natures and just accept the first Pokémon I get, haha. But I might do it in future games to get a gender I want.

 

I wanted to SR for my Fennekin to be female, but I got it from the first time, so I didn't have to worry about that!

 

I don't have the patient to soft reset xD I want to play the game as fast as possible. For playthroughs I don't care about natures anyway (literally half of team usually has a bad nature). My Froakie was female without soft resetting, so I didn't need to soft resest that either, not that I was planning on doing that anyway xD

 

Nope, I wish I did though as I'm pretty sure I got a terrible nature on mine. Maybe I'll do it next time, haha.

 

For Gender, never for Nature. I usually don't care for the Nature too much... (i should battle wise)

 

Gender, yes. Nature usually not a starter, it just seems unimportant for a in-game team member.
I do like to reset for gender on certain Pokémon, like for example I only would want a female Fennekin or a male Froakie.
It's just the gender I see them as, really.

 

I don't do Nuzlockes, and I don't mind Natures. If I want to create more starters, I just use Dittos. So no, I've never really used soft reset before. The only games where I did that, were PMD Explorers of Time/Sky.

 

In Pokémon X, I took the first Froakie that I got and didn't try for a specific nature. In Y, I soft-reset a lot of times in hopes of getting the nature I wanted on my Fennekin. I got a Modest female just as I was about to give up after dozens of tries; I don't remember if that was the nature I wanted in the first place, but I kept her anyway!

 

The funny thing is that I did not reset and I got a female Fennekin the first time. I didn't know that people would reset for a specific gender/nature for starters.

 

On my first playthroughs, I generally don't SR for a specific nature or shiny, because I always like that first journey to feel as genuine as possible.
