Difficulty levels

it was pretty fine to me. the game is fun too tho

 

A weird mix. Whitney, Morty, and and Clair can be really tough but others like Pryce are really easy. The elite four is really hard because of how under-leveled you are as well.

 

I think the games were pretty easy. I actually flew by the first half of the game in less than 3 days. I thought they could have made it a lot harder, but it was still fun nevertheless.

 

There are a few parts in the game where it was hard, like certain gym leaders. But beating the league with my highest lvl Pokémon at 57 and the lowest level Pokémon at 35... Well that's what I call easy.

 

While the game starts off easy, there are opponents that really prove to be tough, like Whitney and Clair. And there's also the Radio Tower stuff after Pryce, and don't forget Lance of course. But before then, the rest of the game is easy because of how stupid low level all the trainers are, so it's not easy for me to define it contritely. Kanto is hardly anything worth note either.

 

It depends on how you play it. I did a challenge where I could only use certain types, so yes it was difficult at times. But even then, I managed to beat the game without all that much trouble, so if you play it with access to all Pokémon, it shouldn't be too difficult at all.
