What did you think of the slightly different Diving mechanics in ORAS? This time you actually had scuba gear instead of just whatever in RSE. In addition, the underwater graphics got major changes and you could have underwater battles. Did you enjoy the new things? Did you find it harder to find elusive underwater items? Do you think your clothes get wet when you Dive? How long do they take to dry? o.O

It's that you can't breathe underwater normally. I mean, you could just breathe underwater in the previous generations just fine without anything! Look at what Pokémon has come to!

In all seriousness, I think it's smarter now to have Scuba Gear so we don't drown. However, I do have something to say about us still wearing our regular clothes...

I really love diving! It's absolutely breathtaking with the music and visuals. I loved that we actually had scuba gear, but other Pokémon underwater are still somewhat questionable. It was definitely harder to find underwater exclusive items since I couldn't really tell where everything was. What kind of disappointed me was the lack of Pokémon available underwater, but honestly, it's just sticking to the old games, so that's fine.

I'm surprised that we aren't immediately crushed due to the pressure of being that deep underwater, or how we survive submerging and surfacing so quickly, but hey!
I love the diving music and the underwater battles though, and I love having fire moves underwater too haha! I haven't tried finding items yet though, I haven't dived that much.

I love diving in ORAS and that we can now find trainers underwater. Although it is a little odd battling them with a fire Pokémon I have to admit. How does that fire type survive? They don't even like being out in rain for Arceus' sake. Even by Game Freak and Nintendo standard underwater battles with a fire type is weird.

Oh man, I love the diving feature. I think it's hilarious how you can send a Typhlosion into an underwater battle. (Yes I actually did that)

A little more interesting than the original titles. The fact of underwater trainers, however, went a little too far. There were enough trainers on the surface to battle, and seeing the same old Water types got kind of dull after a while. Other than that, no real complaints with the diving.

The diving is such a great mechanic, I could spend hours under water, listening to the relaxing music xD I have been wondering if you ever get wet because they never show it xD

I found it fun, but also confusing. How do we not get drenched down there, and how do our Pokémon breath and use their moves? On the note of how long will our clothes take to dry (If they got wet...), I would say about two to three hours, depending on how long you were down there.

Diving is so much better, and way more beautiful in this game. I didn't do a whole ton of it, but it actually felt fun and not like a chore. In the previous games, I hated it. It actually took away some of my enjoyment because I found it ugly, and confusing too. But now you can't help but enjoy it even a little bit. It's just so pretty.

I really like how diving looks in ORAS, it's really beautiful! I like that we actually get diving gear instead of just mysteriously being able to breathe underwater, haha. I also like diving on different Pokémon like Wailmer, Sharpedo, and Kyogre- seeing them in the overworld just looks so awesome!
