Do you collect amiibos?

I'd like to get some, but I don't know which yet. The new wave apparently is already sold out, which is insane lol. Our nearby target has some, I should go see which ones I'd like to get.

 

Nope, and honestly I don't plan to. They seem so expensive and they don't even do much...I've never seen any ones that I would like in actual stores either. Not to mention the quality seems to vary greatly which isn't too good.

 

I haven't purchased any Amiibos yet, but if I ever do, I don't think I plan on collecting every single one. I want a Ganondorf Amiibo, and maybe a Lucina Amiibo, and that's it.

 

Yes, but not as much as I used to. I have a few rarities (Little Mac and Wii Fit Trainer) and sold one of my other rare ones (Captain Falcon). I also have Kirby, Diddy Kong, and Zelda.

 

Amiibos are super gimmicky and expensive. I'm not a huge fan of them at all. I don't plan on buying any since I really don't find them really appealing considering I need them to unlock characters that I may probably only use once or twice.

 

I am not planning on getting any amiibos. They are really expensive and I definitely don't plan on getting them because of the money holes that they can become.

 

I wish I could collect Amiibos, but that seems like a dream that may never come true anytime soon. My original plan was to collect the Pokémon themed Amiibos, but even those Amiibos became difficult to acquire thus making it impossible to get my hands on any except for Pikachu, which is the only Amiibo i currently have.

 

I really want to collect more amiibos than I have at the moment. My plans were basically to get amiibos of all the characters I liked to play in smash, and all the characters I liked. I like collecting figurines, so I don't just see amiibos as something to unlock things in games, I see them as cool figurines...

This line made me laugh so damn hard in the Nintendo Direct.

 

No but I'm very proud of my Mega Man amiibo. I wanted a Ness one, but Nintendo's poor Amiibo stock and replenishing plans has made this likely impossible. This whole amiibo idea has been a flop. Not money wise, but publicity wise. Such incompetence has been shown.

 

I've always wanted to collect Amiibo's just for the heck of it. I don't even have a Wii U! Someone's going to give me their Link Amiibo, as they know I have no real use for it.

 

I considered buying a Bowser or Ganondorf amiibo I could train for Smash, but the more I thought about it, the less worthwhile it seemed.

I still might get one in the future, but I'm only paying 5 bucks for it, tops.

 

No I do not collect Amiibos. ...YET. But once the peripheral comes out that lets you use Amiibos for my version of the 3DS, I might.

Since I'm part of a family where I have 2 younger siblings, if I get something then the jealous little brats will want one too. Since I own Super Smash Bros and Mario Party 10, I bought myself a Pikachu and Yoshi amiibo to go with those games. Then the jealously wildfire started and my younger brother got a Smash Mario and a Donkey Kong, while my sister got a Party Peach and a Sheik. My dad even bought one, Party Bowser, so we could have an even playing field in amiibo Party on Mario Party 10. But since I'm the Nintendo-geek of the house, they all sit on my desk.
I am planning to get some more in the future. Link, Rosalina, Lucario, Greninja, Dark Pit, Sonic and Mewtwo are on my "I'll buy it if I see it, have enough money and I'm not saving for anything" list, while Toad's reason is "I'll get this if I buy Captain Toad". If they make some exclusively for Pokémon titles, I might buy some of those too.

 

I have a pikachu amiibo and 7 others. I think there pretty cool overall and I cant wait for the new ones!

 

I love collecting Amiibos! But they are soooo expensive! I currently have in my possession:

-Pit (which costed $47.98 dollars)
-Charizard
-Ike
-Marth

And the ones I have preordered are:
-Greninja
-Jigglypuff
-Palutena
-Dark Pit

And the one I will get when it comes:
-Mewtwo

Honestly, it's hard trying to find the Amiibos you really want in Australia. So if I stumble across any Amiibo that's not on the list, I'll try and buy it. But finishing the whole list of amiibos seems almost impossible.
