Do any of you guys go to the gym? What is your routine? Do you do yoga, crossfit, aerobic, body building, and/or power lifting? How much can you lift? And finally how frequently?

I used to be a regular gym goer, but I kinda fell out after I got sick and couldn't go for a while. I've been meeting to start the hair back up again. I mostly did power lifting. I did a lot of squats, bench, and my favorite deadlifts. My one rep max on deadlift is 275 lbs.

Do I lift? Do I lift?
    Well, I don't.

Honestly, I'm afraid of the gym. A long time ago, I did go to the gym to participate in a Zumba class, which was honestly so much fun. However, nowadays I'm more of a stay inside and hiss at the sun type of a person rather than a gym rat.

Do I lift? Do I LIFT!?

I'll have you know that I actually do indeed lift, good sir.

I used to go to the gym every day for 6 months and hit the weights for about 1 or 2 hours, then the treadmill for another good hour or so. The results were quite promising. My arms and legs are extremely strong now & I used them to my advantage.

I don't really go to gyms that often, mostly because of the whole atmosphere. When I do go to the gym, I usually just stretch for a few minutes on a mat, warm up jog on the treadmill for 10 minutes or so, run for about 2 hours at a slightly increasing pace, then cool down with a slow 10 minutes of speed walking. After that I just stretch again on a mat and change. I don't know why, but most of the time when I go to the gym I get weird looks, but with music and my headphones I can block everything out and just run my heart out. Treadmills may be boring, but on the bright side they make calculating your stats a lot easier lol.

I used to go a lot more during football (we kinda had to :P)

Now I do some crossfit stuff, but that's it.

I have no idea what my maxes are anymore, though.

Near me, the only place that even has a gym is my university. When I did have time to go, I certainly would, though I was always hard-pressed to do so, as they don't let it count (for credits) unless you're in the gym for a certain number of hours per week (entry to the gym requires signing up for a certain class). I fulfilled that obligation, because it would keep me focused on an exercise regimen.

Unfortunately I found out later on that a student could only access the gym a limited number of times in this way. That was frustrating. Now I keep in shape by maintaining a certain diet, high in fish and green vegetables - and, strangely enough, I had more progress by changing my diet than I ever had at the gym. To put it in perspective, I had to buy a belt to keep my shorts up because the fit was too loose due to my weight loss. Now the belt is slightly loose.

I certainly may be biased in this regard - and I don't mean to discount the merits of exercise, for they are myriad - but I believe a major step towards staying in shape is maintaining a healthful diet.

I don't go to the gym and I mostly only exercise by going for long walks, though I do small exercises at home too. I walk for an average of 2 hours per day.

Actually, I do go to the gym, lots of gyms in fact. I just left Castelia Gym and I'm about to go into Nimbasa Gym...

Oh, you meant the other kind. I don't work out much, but when I do, it's either at home with dumbbells and no-weight exercises (situps and pushups), or running at one of the two free public tracks near where I live (a wilderness running trail and the local high school's track, the latter of which is better on my joints but hotter in summer). When I start going back to school in January I think I might start using the free gym there more regularly, but I need a workout partner first. Until I have that factor, I think I'll just keep my current (unproductive) path.
