As the title suggests, do you grind your Pokémon? This doesn't count for actually facing trainers. I do grind sometimes but not too much.

Sometimes, but not often because the wild Pokémon give out less exp than a trainers Pokémon.

Oh yeah, I've ground over twelve teams up to level 50, some above and below, on Soulsilver. And to make sure that effort is not lost, I'm going to transfer every single one of them onto White. That's just about a hundred Pokémon (when including all the ones I want to send over, not just the ones I ground to lv 50)

Not really. I can get by the game without grinding at all, and I even skip some trainers due to laziness. I only grind a little when I get a new member and they are underleveled, or at the end of the game, when there's not so much to do.

Spend time leveling them. Grinding is common RPG lingo for building your character's levels by repetitive battling.

I always do a bit, it some games I did more than others. Most of the time it's because I switch up team members and like to get them all around the same level. I'll usually grind before a gym in Pokémon games so all of my Pokémon are at least matching the gym leader's ones. It's just habit from playing RPGs and it prolongs the game for me, I don't really find it too boring most of the time. Just part of the game.

I used to never grind, unless needed. I would skip trainers and avoid grass as if it were the plague sometimes.
But ever since I've played this one MMORP, it taught me that Grinding isn't so bad.
So I do it a lot now. Especially when I am trying to level a whole team up at once. Plus it also helps me learn the Pokémon's names (since I still haven't memorized gen 4 and 5 yet) I also attack every trainer I see! But this is mainly due to me wanting their money.

^ Exactly. I do it most of the time, I prefer having all the Pokémon in my team at the same level. It may take some time but I like it this way ^_^

I do it most of the time, whether it be to get a move after ev training, or during the game story, i'd lvl up a new member of the team.

I have been doing so on my Black Nuzlocke. I love them Audinos.

I only grind if I absolutely need to xD Otherwise just battling trainers is enough. I'm still working on getting my shiny dratini in bw2 and battling trainers over and over to lvl up is getting tiresome. I haven't played in a while because of it :(

My Emerald probably has the most grinding ever on it- my starter was grinded to lvl 36 before fighting the rival. That moment when Brendan used a lvl 5 Torchic against a lvl 36 Sceptile with the intent on teaching ME how to battle.

I grind sometimes. It depends on what I'm doing. I definately grind when I have a lower-level teammate, like my L37 Hitmonlee in a team of 45s. (Current LG playthrough.) I'll also always grind for Nuzlockes. If you don't, you'll die. I'm too lazy to EV train or Audino hunt. So i just kill 300000 pidgeys. I remember trying to find a Ralts in Emerald. My Combusken was something fierce by the time I got to Rustboro :)

Not really, I mean I EV Grind but that usually entails 50+ Pokémon each stat so it doesn't take long. As for EXP I throw on a Lucky Egg and tear the Poke League a new one.

Yes, ever since two years ago, my play style on the story changed to always be about ten levels higher than whatever levels the current trainers or gym leaders are. There is no room for error in gyms that I go through the story. I always assign one mon in my team per gym. Usually, I try to go for a flawless battle.

I can't play any game without grinding to the level of complete boredom. I remember how I trained my whole chrono trigger team to level 99 before facing the main adversary for the first time. As far as Pokémon is concerned, I think out of the 78 hours it took me to reach and conquer the Pokémon Black elite 4, I must have spent 40 grinding. Unfortunately this somewhat damaged my overall gaming experience. I anyway adored black, so in retrospect it worked fine.

    Oh yes I do.
I always pick my favorite Pokémon, breed a baby and train them 'with love' to Lvl 1oo :D
Thats why I have many Pokémon on LvL 1oo like Torchic, Pikachu, Umbreon, Deino, Victini....etc.
I love to see my Pokémon growing~
