Do you guys still actuaL play Pokémon, or has it lost that spark for you? When did you stop playing? Would you ever play again? Did you come into LV still playing or did you already stop? If you weren't playing when you joined, why did you come to a Pokémon forum?

On the flipside, why do you stay? What keeps you hooked on for more? Have you ever thought of stopping? Do you think you'll ever stop?

I still play from time to time, but I definitely do not play anywhere as often as I used to. When I came here (just a couple of weeks ago) I was actually looking for a spark to get me interested in Pokémon again. Since coming back, I've probably put about six or so hours into Pokémon, which is a lot better than how much I was playing it beforehand. So I can say that I now play Pokémon, whereas I didn't too much a couple of weeks ago. I have thought about stopping many times, but then I always realize that quitting Pokémon doesn't have to be a part of growing up, and it won't be for me.

I still play, though from time to time, I stop and play a different game. In fact, Pokémon has most of the top play times in my 3ds records in one game or another, giving way only to Golden Sun, (which will soon be overtaken since I have only played that game through one time) and I think Animal crossing and Tomodachi life, neither of which is number one. I enjoy training the Pokémon I guess, There isn't much of a story involved, though there can be really good bits in that regard, and it's not like I actually interact with the Pokémon, there's just this special charm about training them up, and seeing yourself succeed against the odds, I love the cute designs (and the manly ones too usually) and those groups of pixels and memory space really grow on you after a time.

I play, but definitely not as much as I used to when I joined here (August 2014). I'll still play from time to time, but I'm certainly not as obsessed as I was. But, that'll certainly change when a new game releases. To be honest, I haven't even beaten ORAS yet, despite getting pretty far with both copies of the game. I don't really play my 3DS much more either. The only game I was really hooked onto was Project Mirai DX (the Miku game).

I still do all of these years later. I usually pop in Omega Ruby if I want to wireless battles with my brother or I look for a shiny on DexNav.

I used to play every day, but I don't do that anymore. I guess I kinda lost interest. I'm not into EV training, IV breeding and Shiny hunting, which means my experience is kinda over after I beat the game. I do plan to buy more spinoff games and Pokémon Z, but I don't even know how much longer I'll stay a fan.

I still play Pokémon on occasion, even though I was losing interest for months and stopped playing because of boredom of doing same things after post-game. However, it was when I decided to start fresh in newly bought Pokémon Y that I started to like it again, because revisiting Kalos makes me glad I'm still a fan.

Since I've been a fan of this series since 1999, I think it's safe to say I don't think I'll be quitting Pokémon anytime soon. I might when I quit gaming in general, so if I did, then Pokémon will follow suit. Lately I've been continuing Pokémon Omega Ruby since I've been wanting to continue the story after putting it off for over a year. Again, I don't see myself quitting Pokémon unless I actually start losing interest in it.

I generally only play for a few months after I get one of the games. I haven't really touched AlphaSapphire in several months, I'm working my way through Black2 playing a half hour or so per week (see my adventure log in my spoiler down there? It's taken me two months to reach the next gym). I'm trying to work my way through my custom edit of Sacred Gold on DS, but I pretty much got Totodile and haven't touched it since.

I think what I'm going to do is after I get and complete Z version, I'm going to restart either Z or AS and so some kind of a challenge. I don't think I've ever restarted a completed Pokémon game, but why not start with that?

I don't think I'll ever stop. I might, since I did stop for a few years after Gen 4, but I think I'm sticking with it now.

I don't remember the last time I played a main series game from starter-to-champion (I definitely did a few runs of X and Y to complete my OR National Dex), but I still play Omega Ruby to use the Blissey Bases and Pokémon Amie for no reason other than "I can" and "I don't have a lot of unfinished games other than those SNES classics I'm just procrastinating on" (I'm almost finished with Earthbound, and DKC2... moving on).

I would like to play Omega Ruby again, but my first file of that game is the one that got the National Dex, with 709 critters and counting (thank you event distributions coming back, even if I missed Hoopa), so that's not getting deleted, but my Alpha Sapphire cart isn't mine (it's my brother's). This is when multiple saves would come in handy (like having one save that's what we have, and another save to play the game through, but not be able to trade with anyone, and would delete itself once the Champion is defeated/Delta Episode cleared/other post-game flag checked).

I couldn't tell you how many weeks it's been since I last played a Pokémon game. I still like it, but I'm not that into the games anymore, I suppose?

As much as I like Pokémon, it's just tough for me to get into. Between my limited income (plus the typical $60 price tag for new games) and the fact that the series feels somewhat stagnant, it's just hard to come back to it again.

I definitely still play. I'm not really sure why. It is something i enjoy for hours at a time, and don't even put much thought into. I play with Pokémon I like the most, and proceed to beat the new games with ease, the old with some frustrating grinding. Yet I don't get tired of it very often. I just like Pokémon, and i think that is what brings me to it.

I play, but not very often anymore. I get really bored once I've beat the story of the game, and generally restart after that happens. Battling online doesn't hold much value for me, because you don't really get much out of it, if that makes sense. There's not really a ranking and rewards system that I find valuable :s

I think the only handheld game that I still play regularly is New Leaf.

I think I'll nuzlocke the games but I will never really "Play" them now, I find nuzlockes so interesting and clever that I'd be fun to try on all! Then again, I'm slowly moving away to competitive battling and ROM Hacks, I'll just see where this leads!

Of course! I've been into Pokémon for almost 20 years and don't plan to stop unless something serious happens and I just become too busy. It's my childhood and the only franchise I've consistently loved throughout the years. Proud to say I've been keeping up with the games for so long and have gotten almost each main series title on release. :-3

I'm always playing Pokémon. Yeah I take a break here and there but it's only matter of time before I replay a Pokémon game. Currently it's Pokémon Yellow and soon it will be Pokken Tournament. Pokémon always has fun games to play.

While I don't get as much time to play anymore, I'll always make time for Pokémon and always come back to it! I love playing older games for nostalgia's sake too. I think I'll be playing Pokémon for a long time, the game has left such an impression on me I could never leave it behind.

I still play, but not as much as of late. I'm not a huge fan of EV training and all that, but its fun to see what you can get in wonder trade and just occasionally replay the game with different nuzlocke variants.
