Do you want to build a cyborg?

I'd become a cyborg, but not to enhance things that I can do already. I would add mechanical wings on my back so I can fly. OwO

 

I will change my lungs....No more asthma for me and I will be able to do any thing that I wanted before :')

 

Just give me a robotic brain. I just need to enhance it a bit, so that I will have telepathy and the ability to read minds
And I wanna fly, so gimme some wings, too XD

 

Being able to visualize my thought processes as if I was using a computer would be pretty cool.
So I suppose it would be something along the lines of a brain augmentation... Preferably one that has external controls situated on a pair of glasses.

 

Just for my hearing. It ain't terrible, but it's not great, either.

 

I always thought that having a bionic arm would be so badass (kinda like Edward from FullMetal Alchemist). It would just be so cool in every possible way! Though if it's not necessary, maybe it's better to just leave my arm where it is right now...

 

I'm sorry, but the first thing I thought when I read this thread title was: "It doesn't have to be a cyborg~"

Silliness aside

That would look epic, but you would need a gearhead, one with hopefully less of an inclination to throw wrenches, and then really cold/hot weather would bother you move. If we had cyborgnetic technology, we should use it on those who need it, like super-prosthesis . I am just happy with all my natural body parts, thank you very much.

I wouldn't become a cyborg since it kind of creeps me out. However, if it helps people with disabilities, it sounds awesome. However for me, I'm fine just the way I am, I don't need something that could cost me thousands just to enhance something that doesn't need to be enhanced considering I stay inside all day anyways.

 

Being a robotic owl would be pretty cool

 

Personally, I don't think I'd get any enhancements unless I needed them... They're super useful to help people out, though!

 

I would love to have a cyborg. However, I don't know how realistic it is for me to get one...

 

I'm fine with cybernetic modifications to living bodies for helping with disabilities or injuries, but I'm not sure enhancing abilities past normal would be as great as we think. It's dangerous stuff that could be misused, whether intentionally or not. Also it would be easy to get caught up in all the "upgrading" and end up like this guy:

To be honest, whilst it would be cool, I wouldn't purposefully give myself cybernetic limbs and such. If I had to, I would, but I'm quite happy with being unaltered.

 

I'd probably not really bother with enhancements unless I needed them for some reason. I imagine it'd be quite expensive too, so even then I might not actually be able to get them;;
