Does anyone like paul/shinji from Pokémon?

Eh... His methods are more on the grey side (N would've had a heart attack if they met). But he isn't the worst rival ever.

 

I never really liked Paul all that much, he was too cocky and overly douchy for my taste. I know that's how his character is supposed to be but he just wasn't very likable to me at all. Also, shipping him with Dawn is ridiculous. Pearlshipping all the way >_>

 

I actually quite liked Paul. He was an actual jerk in a world where even the bad guys are relatively nice. It was a great change and he was a fun character to watch. +1 for Paul on my end. c:

 

He's a pretty cool antagonist to me. He's not very nice to Pokémon but other than that, he's not much worse than other antagonists.

 

Paul was a really horrible character in my opinion. I know he was an antagonist, but to seriously abandon one of your own Pokémon because its "too weak" is just cruel. That poor Chimchar fought his best and Paul literally just abandoned it on the street. Not even the likes of Team Rocket were that heartless.
