Dome vs Helix

Dome Fossil. Let's forget memes here for a second. I'm really curious to know which one people ACTUALLY like. In my opinion, the dome fossil was way more a solid choice. There is almost no competitive, in fact. Helix has a big following but that seems like it, to me.

Omanyte evolves in to a weird disco dancing...thing. Kabuto evolves in to a super cool destroying machine of death.

 

This is one of the hardest choices for me, I really like Omastar and Kabutops... I'm pretty sure that I picked the Dome fossil though. Probably because I like kabutops just slightly better.

 

I always picked Dome because Kabutops was way cooler than Omastar, in my opinion. Even though I never use either, I still prefer Kabutops.

 

HOW DARE YOU BETRAY LORD HELIX

In all seriousness I thought everyone would pick Omanyte, but surprisingly nobody has. But if we're talking Gen I, Omastar because its stats are more well rounded and it can make decent use of them. Kabutops only has Normal-type moves and a lackluster special stat to use alongside it.

 

Dome Fossil, by far. Kabutops really looks badass, with its sharp scythes and stuff. It can slice straight through you, no problem at all. I don't see Omastar do that anytime soon xD

 

I mostly chose the Dome fossil since the Omantye/Omastar didn't look cool enough to me.

 

I chose helix first because it sounded cooler and that still holds truth today. Kabutops is not my favorite of the original fossil 'mons as I find Omastar to be more useful overall, more so in R/B/Y since we didn't get the physical and special split yet.

 

I used to always choose the Dome fossil, but I like Omastar more. He's a star, after all.

Seriously though, I prefered Omastar. I really don't like Kabutops.

 

I picked the Helix fossil because I love The Lord of the Dance!

 

More often than not I picked the Hexil fossil because I like Omanyte.

Lord Helix fossil. Even though the dome fossil gives you the better competitive Pokémon.

 

Dome Fossil. Kabuto/Kabutops has the better design and the better strength (back then). Not to mention, it doesn't need some randomized, overused meme to make it a great fossil.
