Of course you couldn't resist. I doubt I would have been able to, either.

Do you ever want to do something simply because you are told not to? Actually, I don't even know why I'm asking. Clearly, you must feel that way to some degree if you're here. Go ahead and share with us about time where you did something you were told not to do. How did it turn out in the end?

Many people Donot like being told what to do , From your thread name i realized you were plotting about this subject ,In so i clicked it , So i might as well reply.

1.Sometimes If that "thing" Benefits me I am Subjected To try and do it , regardless of who told me to , But only if its Usefull , Worth it or fun.

2.Well One time We were in a hotel when i was young and my mother always told me to Not play with the chargers(i used to hold them and Keeo Flinging them in a circle Like how The stereo cowboys do with thier ropes before catching and or throwing)and then i was left alone while my mother and sister went shopping I played with the charger And...my worst nightmare came true.. , I had broken a 10,000$ TV of a hotel , I was so Scared I Was just Running in circles Untill i maned up and called my Mother , True i was Punished Dearly , But Time Healed All Wonds And the Money was payed , And i was grounded and unable to use electrical devices , Luckily my birthday was 2 weeks after and my mother Forgived me YAY! , But I DONOT ever want to Do that ever again.

I did not read the thread as directed, only the title which I saw on the side widget thing. Since I did not read the the OP at all, I am now posting what is perhaps the most pointless reply in forum history.

Oh, yeah... I've done those things quite often. If my government advises me I shouldn't do something when it's against the will of my rights, I will go against what they say, because I am a law abiding citizen who fights for peace, independence, and prosperity.

Oh crap I fell for it xD

I've done something I was told not to MANY times. Sometimes you just can't resist it because YOLO. But often, there's a consequence to our actions. For example, when I was young, I used to play my with badminton with my siblings inside the house, and I'm sure you know how that turned out. Of course we were always told not to play inside the house, but when it's too hot outside, you obviously wouldn't want to play there. I had a powerful badminton smash for a child but that smash of mine broke a glass flower vase. My sister and I tried taping it together (gosh we were so stupid xD) but my mom saw us fixing it and got angry for playing inside the house and for touching the broken glass.

As I grew up, I learned how important it is to listen to what "wiser" people say. But I've gotta admit, I still can't resist breaking the rules every now and then. :D

I read this thread. For the most part it's just me staying up later than I should. "Don't stay up too late," my parents tell me. Hahaha.
Generally if someone tells me not to do something I try not to do it unless it's dumb like when my friend told me to never speak of the incident when she fell on the floor in the locker rooms.

Sometimes I cry irl to defy my friends by y'know

I was bad about this as a kid.
One memorable time is when I got a hot chocolate at a restaurant and my grandmother said "Don't drink it right away" and what did I do?

As a child I was always fiercely independent and wanted to do my own thing.

Now I'm just fiercely independent and have an innate distrust of all authority.

I suppose some things never change.

I probably have done something due to curiosity, and as the sang goes, curiosity killed the cat.

It's like you actually wanted us to read the thread despite the title, haha. :3

My parents told me that I should probably have a regular sleep schedule where I don't stay up so late.

    ......... Yeah that's going well.

    Ain't nobody care.

For me, there are things that I want to do, and things I don't want to do. I should listen, but I get really lazy. However, if every time someone tells you to do something, there's probably a reason why. Like if my mom tells me to clean up my room, I should probably do it. However, I usually don't. Then the consequence? Dust and flies. Everywhere. That's just me, but you know what, my laziness is what makes me me.
