I was looking around and?? Nothing on the Dragon Age series? That surprised me honestly so. I'm making my own topic to mend this problem. Hopefully I'm not the only one here that loves the game.

Because my love runs so deep for this game. (Curse you bioware for making so many good games.)

SO tell me my friends. What game out of the three do you like best. Favorite party banter, and characters?
What kind of life changing decisions did you make. @V@
And what are your grey warden, hawke, and/or inquisitor like?

My grey warden was a temperamental misanthrope elf mage that did things actually okayish. She wasn't a complete jerk at least. My Hawke was a classy humorous force mage that was only slightly diplomatic, at least in the sense that she worked well with almost everyone. When she wasn't making terrible jokes. And my inquisitor is the most even headed, laid back, and diplomatic of all my characters. At least she isn't making awful jokes like the previous two

    Though I can't wait to see how inquisition ends, if I can ever get around to finishing the game. ; w ;

I've only played Inquisition, so I don't know much about the series, but I LOVE Dorian and Iron Bull's banter. xD

Ahh well hey thats cool. Inquisition is admittedly slightly better than the other two to begin with anyways.
But yes those two are hilarious. I actually like dragging along those two, and Sera, just for their banter.

That and Cole with everyone. Except Vivienne. Vivienne is so mean to him most of the time.

I played Origins for a bit, but somehow the intricacy of the storyline overwhelmed me. All the politics and family trees and who's avenging who. Normally I like that stuff, but Dragon Age seemed to go over the top with it.

I was, however, going to install it again this coming weekend (I found a UI mod at Nexus Mods that should repair what I think is an awful dialogue interface), and give it another try. The magic system seems really fun, so I was going to do a mage, and lead into a [what do they call it, mage who turns into a magic-powered warrior?]

I know each character has their own in-depth development and all, so does anyone have a suggestion on a crew member I should keep with me most of the time to make the most of the story?

I'd go with the War Dog! Random choice, but some of the banter you get between him and your party gave me a good chuckle or two.

Haven't really made a solid go at playing Dragon Age Origins, but I like my team of 'peasant' warrior Elf, Alistair, Morrigan and the War Dog. I hope that this party will be enough to let me complete the main story. I've got all of the DLC for the first game to go through as well!

@[member="ZeroBlack"] Yeah orgins is really deep with its story, though I mostly just floated along in it and did what I could to remember as much as I could. There was a few things I kinda messed up on but ey, I tried. And while I personally found the mage class to be a bit touchy in that one, if you do get Arcane warrior you can become an awesome tank. My Arcane Warrior put Alistair to shame. Arcane Warrior goes pretty great with any other specialization too, allowing you a bunch of breathing room as far as if you want to deal more damage, or take up the mantle of a healer/tank.

@[member="Reckless"] Yess gotta love the mabari war hound. I named mine Luca, and he made an A+ companion.

And I took me years to actually fully finish origins. Like,I'd start up a save file, get lost, quit for a few, come back, rinse and repeat until about my 7th try.

Then everything just snapped into place and I went through the whole game. :U

Also that party is a great one, and honestly no matter what if you put your mind to it and you really want them on your team, you can work with any party setup. For the longest time I worked with mostly mages, other times with my main character surrounded by warriors.
