Simple enough question. Which do you prefer, and why?

I personally watch the subbed anime by preference. I don't really know why, it just seems more natural to me. I have watched a few dubbed anime, and they didn't disappoint me at all, though I still prefer subbed :)

Honestly, either. Subbed is nice to watch things for the first time and such, but dubbed is okay so I can pay more attention to the actual animation rather than the subtitles. Not that I really have a problem with that, because I actually don't.

I prefer subbed. Once in a while there is a really good dub (such as SAO) which I'll watch, but usually the voice acts lack expression IMO (Fairy Tail).

I like dubbed just because I don't have to read while watching; it can get really crazy when there are multiple conversations happening at the same time. But at the same time I appreciate the original form and the lack of censorship of subs.

Dubbed, I think it's easier to follow.

There was a time I used to enjoy watching subbed anime, especially for shows that didn't get localised yet. Now, though, I'm patient enough to wait for dubbed material; for the simple reason that I no longer fancy reading and trying to watch at the same time.

Subbed, because it has more emotion in the voice acting. Dubbed sounds hilarious, and most of the time the voices don't suit the characters at all when it comes to dubbed.

I prefer subbed anime, they have more exactly words with the anime while in the dubbed they change the guides and sometimes they censor the real guideline.

Either is fine with me. Dubbed is good so I don't have to paying attention constantly, but I don't mind reading the subbed.

Heavy preference towards subbed here. I'm just used to seeing anime in its original language and tend to prefer the voices that way, though there are some wonderful dubs around (like Soul Eater and Durarara!! among others). If I had a choice I'd always go with subbed first, though.

I'm not as picky as I used to be with dubbed anime, so I would say either is fine. But I still pay attention to voices a lot. If I don't like the English voices I'll switch to Japanese.

I usually watch subbed these days, but there are some really good dubbed anime too out there. Gundam Wing, Hellsing, Fruits Basket, and Inuyasha among a few I can think of off the top of my head.

I prefer subbed. I'm a pretty fast reader and can comprehend a couple sentences at a time with ease, so having to read the subtitles at the bottom each time is no problem for me! Plus, since I was young I had my father turn closed captioning on while watching TV (even though there was no need) and read that while watching, so that may have helped as well. I also find that subbed voices are almost always more pleasing than dub voices, and that some dubs have turned out horrendous. (I swear almost anything that is involved with Sentai Filmworks ends up becoming bad.) Of course, there are some cases where subbed voices aren't the best either. *coughcoughUSAGITSUKINO'Scoughcough*

I actually like dubbed more then subbed. I don't know when i here subbed sometime they give a wrong translation until you dub there you're like OOOOOHHHH.

I'm okay with either tbh. Both have their good and their bad, but overall it's still anime and I enjoy it.

I usually prefer subbed but I like both quite a bit. Dubs can be actually really cool, I don't understand all the hate for them.

95% of the time I prefer dubbed. I don't really mind if the voice acting isn't fantastic, and I like being able to watch/appreciate the art style as often as possible, rather than staring at the bottom of the screen for subtitles.

I have watched a few animes subbed though, because everyone INSISTED it was a bajillion times better than dubbed, or it just didn't have a dubbed version available.

I can't listen to dubbed anymore, after going to subs. I just prefer it a lot more, it sounds more natural, and some things in dub just make my soul crumple.

Subbed most of the time but I don't flat out hate dubs like most anime fans. Various can be good like Haruhi/FMA/Cowboy Bebop.
