I've yet to mention it here on the lake yet, but I play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons in my spare time with friends. For anyone who doesn't know, D&D is a tabletop fantasy roleplaying game. Think Skyrim, but with dice and a whole lot of freedom of choice. I've been playing D&D since the 5th grade, and over the years I've made a ton of my own custom content for the game. Things like character sheets, magic items, classes, and races are a few of the types of content I've created. I figured I would use this thread as a place to upload and share some of my creations for anyone who wants to try and run them in their own games, or for people who just have an interest! As things are developed and finalized, I'll upload them in new posts on the thread. I'll also give little sneak peaks at in-progress projects as well! Content List (Click content to see it!): - The Prism Guardian (Monster) - The Nightmare Summoner (Monster) - The Nightmare Skeleton (Monster) - Magic Item Sheet (Supplementary Sheet) Upcoming: - The Warlord (Class)
I would love to see some of your homebrew stuff. The first character I ever played as was a homebrew class and race.
First content update, woohoo! Spoiler: New Content The first bit of new content I'd like to introduce is just a few monsters I created for a campaign awhile ago. They aren't necessarily applicable in all adventures, and the CR ratings are completely bogus (I prefer to use a session-based level advancement method). That being said, these monsters may be helpful as generic baddies with some simple flavour changes. Without further ado, I'd like to introduce: Spoiler: The Prism Guardian Spoiler: The Nightmare Summoner Spoiler: The Nightmare Skeleton As a side note, these were all made with an application called DND Monster Maker. Future creatures will probably be made with this app as well. Spoiler: Upcoming Content Sooner or later, I'll be uploading some new magic item material, map bases, and hopefully a brand new homebrew class!
Another update today! Spoiler: New Content Today I've got another small bit of D&D material in the form of a magic item sheet. I was having trouble organizing magic items for my friends a little while ago and wanted a convenient way to keep everything together that also kept my players from rummaging through the book all the time to see what their items did. Of course, the D&D logo does not belong to me, blah blah blah, all that stuff. This version of the sheet includes 4 spaces for items. Spoiler Spoiler: Upcoming Content Introducing... Spoiler My very first homebrew class is a love letter to my favorite class from 4th edition D&D that never made it into 5th edition, the warlord. It's a real shame that the warlord never made the cut, and instead got lumped in with the battle master fighter archetype. 5th edition could really use some more control-oriented character types, and my goal with this homebrew class was to fulfill this role while providing a callback to the 4th edition warlord. The class itself is, for the most part, completed already. However, it lacks flavor, needs some balancing, and requires an overhaul specifically on the Gatekeeper archetype. Expect some progress updates as time goes on, but I hope to have this out and ready to go within a couple of weeks at the latest!
