E4 Statues.

    Something I've often overlooked, and feel everyone else must have as well considering the lack of thread on it, are the 2 statues above the doors you enter to face the E4. the left one resembles a fox of some sort, and I can only assume the right is meant to be some kind of bird with its wings around it. What are they? Pokémon perhaps? They don't resemble any I know...

    Considering how much content has yet to be added to the game (mythical Pokémon, Vivillon forms, mega evos) I'd say it's not too far fetched that whatever they are, they haven't been added to the game yet.

    We've seen a lot of statues in the Pokémon games so far. Some resemble Pokémon, like the Reshiraqm and Zekrom statues in X/Y. But others, like these, don't seem to resemble anything. I think it's just decoration, nothing too mysterious.

    I agree with Achromatic that it'd be really cool if they were Pokémon that haven't been released yet. I also kind of agree with Need-No-King (awesome username by the way) when they said that it's probably nothing.
