Those sly movie companies were always good at somehow shoving information up our tiny little brains as children, using movies such as The Magic School Bus and Dora the Explorer (taught some basic Spanish, k)

Did you watch any educational film series as a child? Which one was your favorite? Did you actually learn anything?

I used to love Dora the Explorer, it was one of my favorite early childhood TV shows. Although the only thing I absorbed was how to count to five in Spanish, I still enjoyed the show. It didn't work like it was supposed to, in that it was supposed to give me a small knowledge of some basic Spanish words, but it was enjoyable, and I can say that about most educational shows I've seen, The Magic School Bus included.

Yeah, i remember watching dora the explorer. It was fun. Counting things, telling where that fox(i forgot the name) is hiding gave some basic visual and learning skills. Another was micky mouse club house( i think it was its name). It was good and gave me some puzzle solving skills.

Magic school bus, Let's see how the grow, amazing animal videos, Eye Witness, Natues shows, special like raising the mammoth (man that was awesome!), and those are just the ones I remember the names of. more than half of what I used to watch as a kid was educational shows. My favorite was Boneheads: Detectives of the paleoworld. man the episode about troadude was awesome! The one about madegascar was good too. The next onme wasn't quite an educational show but it was still cool: Truth or Scare! Man that one was good and scary at times. Alot of my knowledge came from these shows, so much that a some points I was ahead of my peers at school.

    BILL BILL BILL BILL-

Bill Nye the Science Guy was my favorite lmao. Watching that in school was great, even if I never really retained any of the information I learned. Oops! Oh well, it was still a great, non-boring way to learn some of that, uh, stuff he taught. Yeah.
