I'm trying to get all Eeveelutions shiny on my Ultra sun copy. I've got four so far. This one has a gentle nature. This one has a modest nature. This one has a naive nature This one has a quirky nature. Lasty, this one has a careful nature. This one has a calm nature. This one has a mild nature. This one has a quiet nature. This one has a bashful nature. This hunt is technically finished. Yay!
Yo... that's intense. I applaud your patience and dedication. You've caught almost as many shinies during just this quest than I have in my entire Pokémon-playing lifetime (five, I think). Keep it up, you're halfway there!
@Ivy You've inspired me to try to do a little bit of Shiny hunting for the first time, and you seem to have a pretty good handle on this, so I've got two questions for coaching: when you shiny hunt, do you literally just throw an adrenaline orb and KO the SOS arrivals until one is shiny, and how do you keep the original wild from struggling itself to death before a shiny arrives?
Haha thank you! Yeah you false swipe the Pokémon then use an adrenaline orb then KO the ones the get called in until a shiny appears at the most basic. To stop the calling Pokémon from struggling. I lead an exeggutor with the harvest ability (it's hidden ability) with the moves Bestow and skill swap, other two moves could be anything really. Give a leppa berry to the Exeggutor so it can give the item to the Pokémon. My usual attacking Pokémon is a Smeargle. An important move to give it so it can last infinitely in battle while holding a leppa berry is the move recycle so it can use the item infinitely. For the other move slots put false swipe and some sort of high PP high damaging move. I do recommend to put a hp recovering move on it. Maybe put an extra false swiper to switch in when you get the shiny if they have stat decreasing moves. I use Parasect for the extra false swiper cause it also has spore to make that capture easier. Or get a full team of high level false swipers with high PP moves and switch the calling Pokémon if you want. That's what I did before setting up my team. For when I shiny hunt, literally any time I have free really. Feel free to ask more questions! I'll be happy to answer!
With the Eevees all hunted, (also the Umbreon) should I make another thread to all the Eeveelutions or not show them at all?
Yoooo that was a pretty neat hunt, especially when that umbreon appeared that's so crazy. Now I also wanna continue my Salandit hunt.
