*sigh* ok I understand the rule, and I should have checked the rule beforehand, as should the rest of us, But I have to rant. Why is there an item clause to begin with? I understand we gotta follow the rules, but honestly that's probably the dumbest "standard" rule in Pokémon. People often use the arguement that it lets you get creative, but it doesn't inspire creativity in your sets. In fact it actually limits your creativity. Instead of Leftovers on a mon, you gotta put on a worse item like... like a sitrus berry. If you're using a mon and the Sitrus Berry item actually works better on it then lefties in certain circumstances, then that's fine, but when using a mon, what if there aren't other good items that fit it other than that item? This in of itself could become an issue in this format as we can't use Pokémon that we've already used. It's not like enough things have already been banned that don't make sense at all like protecting moves. Like I said, I'll follow the rule but the rule is honestly quite dumb, and just needlessly limits what you could do. I'd even argue this to the mod in charge of this event but I already know they aren't gonna change their minds about it, and might even think I'm just doing this to not take a 0-6 Sorry, rant over. I just... I just can't understand what's so appealing about the rule.
Can I just emphasize how much I hate this event. I don't blame AAA , I blame how stupid as Frillish these bs on an arguably overresricted already format. Not to mention you should of let us keep the points and just also given them 6 (more So because it was never even in play [the rule that was broken]) or heck even do a rematch. Edit: @TripleAAABattery very very agreed, I could probs convince Yah boi goomza to have a chance to earn 5 points back in a rematch and them keep the 6 this mod won't agree because they live in what we PTCG players call the "Lost Zone"

Just feel like saying Ozone is Chill af. He's at least helping me try to build a compromise now it's all down to Wolf. Well he also has to talk to his team about it, which could also throw it down Edit: Teams Agree to give us half back, now it's down to Wolf But keep in mind, we CANT mess up again
Ok, so, some good news and bad news. Bad news first though. Dunno if ya'll are aware of this but Wolf decided against the compromise still, so we're still gonna be stuck with the 0-6. Good news however (if you consider it good I mean) is that he told me that he'll actually still allow me to do a battle for another week despite not normally being able to do so. Since Ridlins has volunteered for this upcoming week, and I don't wanna replace him if he wants to still battle, if you guys would let me, I can do another battle for either week 3 or 4.
Well, that's some good news. At least now we know we have enough battlers to make it through all 4 weeks. I think we should try to get our next team put together as quickly as possible this time, so that we have an opportunity to double-check it. I'm thinking that maybe we could start with Mega Lopunny this time. What do you guys think?
Mega Lopunny sounds like a good core @TripleAAABattery Of course you can participate again because that gives us our remaining member: Me, Ridlins and You This, while maybe not being what we truly wanted, it does help us so I'll take it. Who knows it could have be better then half our points back The "Lost Zone" is not only a way to loss but also to win, disadvantage can be advantage, maybe this will give us a bit of a "lets be serious rush"
The situation's a bit frustrating, but I'm glad we can make the most of it! Btw you guys are doing a great job building teams despite not having many people to help
Yeah, we just gotta remember now that because we're behind 6-0, even if our remaining battles are wins, we need to win by quite a bit or we still lose. We'll definitely need to try our best. Anyways, yeah, Mega Lopunny sounds good. A few different sets we could do with that. Should we go with a standard set for now with Return / Fake Out / High Jump Kick / filler?
That sounds nice. We shoud keep in mind that with a lot of the more solid Greninja/AshNinja answers out of the way, we should definitely take advantage of that. We could even run spikes/toxic spikes on it since hazard pressure helps out Mega Lopunny.
Is Foretress banned from the event (or already used)? If not it could be a great Spikes setter, if I remember my time on Showdown correct.
