Elite Four Types

I really liked how in Gen 5 the Elite 4 went together thematically, so I hope they do the same for X/Y. For example, they could do the Pokémon versions of the four basic elements: Ground, Flying, Fire, and Water.

 

I'd like to see the Elite 4 specialize in the more "mundane" types instead of having gyms for them. By those I mean Fire, Water, Grass and Electric. Those types feel like staples in Pokémon games to me, being the types of starters throughout the series. I'd like to see the Elite 4 using those and symbolizing the highest level of achievement with those standard types.

 

I'd love to see ice again, with perhaps grass, steel, and psychic. Give a mix of defense and special defense with steel and psychic, and I just love ice/grass types

 

I would have to agree with the fire, water, grass, and dragon. It works so much better than the others and shows how much potential they can be used. The Champ, definitely movxed, b/c who wants a specialize Pokémon type champ >.>

 

I agree. Then your rival as champ for the first time since Gen 1. Him having a team of mostly regular Pokémon would fit that theme well imo

 

Totally not practical but, a Goth gym leader who only uses Dark Pokémon. It'd just be hysterical.

 

I guess gen VI might have a Fairy type E4 leader...
but yeah, I guess Water/Fire/Grass/... works pretty good, and I loved the gen V Elite4 setup!

 

I'd love to see a Normal-type or a Flying-tyoe Elite Four. I really hope they let us choose which guy we can fight first, and instead of them all being in the same level like in BW, the other members' levels increase every time you beat one of them.
