What kind of environment are you most comfortable in? Humid or dry? Do you prefer it cold or hot? Are you used to bring in high altitudes, or closer to sea level? Speaking of the sea, how comfortable are you with being near the ocean? Why do you live it this way? On the flipside, what's your least favorite climate zone? Why do you not like it?

I prefer climates that are dry (though not overly so) and cold (though, again, not overly so). Sadly I don't live in a tundra, so my wishes are not granted - then again, 'tundra' probably counts as 'overly so'.

I do not find heat or participation particularly desirable. While the former is understandable, I think the latter is because when I was a child, I lived in an area where it would rain almost constantly, even in the summer, so as I grew, I began to detest rain. My opinion of it now is largely neutral now, thankfully, though you still won't be seeing me flock outside to play about in the puddles or anything. Rather you'll probably just see me stay indoors, or sling on my jacket only if I have to go out somewhere.

Where I live now is a 'close-enough' place to get those things, with the exception that it gets rather hot in the summer - but then again, so do most places, so I need not complain.

Dry Cool and close to ocean level, like where I grew up!
Here is more elevated and I got the worst flu ever when I first moved here.

Being near the water is great. I spent the first half of my life living about 25 minutes' drive from the ocean, and I've spent a combined few weeks of my life in beach houses.

Ideally, though, I think I want to live somewhere cold, maybe east or west coast somewhere near the American-Canadian border. The heat makes people crazy, and I like dressing for cold weather. I wouldn't even hate living somewhere with a Scandinavian climate.

The worst for me is a dry, expansive desert. I visited in California, I think, somewhere near the border with Arizona or Nevada (or maybe it was in one of those states). I hated it, just dry lifeless ground as far as the eye can see with nothing but a few bushes to give life to the scene. At least, until off in the distance, snow-capped mountains could be seen. I couldn't take my eyes off them, I wanted to be there, with the snow and brisk air, not down on the baked ground.
