Same with the pencil thread! Do you guys prefer a certain type of eraser when working on traditional art? I usually just use whatever eraser I have on my pencil. But I know my roommate really likes kneaded erasers because they don't smear as much and you can tap on a picture to soften areas up.
I prefer whatever is on the pencil for convenience, but out of all pencil bottoms, I prefer the ones on the end of the Paper Mate Clearpoint mechanical pencil's. They are so soft and in a way malleable so you can make a fine tip if you want it or a flat one as well.
I mostly just use what I have within reach, that can be the eraser on the tip of my mechanical pencil or the bigger eraser I have lying around on my desk somewhere
I use black erasers. It's just easier for me to look at, as a person with OCD. I can't see the dirt marks, therefore I'll clean it less often.
I used to just use pencil erasers when drawing until I took an art class not to long ago. Now I use a white vinyl erasure and a kneaded erasure when I draw.
Yeah, I think I probably play with my kneaded eraser more than I actually use it. But it is good for erasing smaller things that are surrounded by things that you don't want to erase and is really useful when using charcoal
i dont really mess with charcoal that much so i don't think i'd use it what that i just don't like bothering with the mess charcoal makes
