If you had to choose, which one would you pick? I would personally pick Espeon, because I've never really worked with an Umbreon, and because Espeon has a fair learnset.

I like Espeon way better. It's like a psychic kitty cat and is fast and powerful. Used it in my main Black 2 team for a very long time. I likes it.

I like Umbreon myself. I don't know why, I guess I just like dogs that look like cats... Or is Umbreon a cat that looks like a dog? I'm not sure.... It barks and growls during the opening of stadium two. xD

I never had luck with Umbreon. For some reason, my Umbreon's were only good at dying. But I had an Espeon and he wrecked everything in his path. Espeon will always be my favorite compared to the two of them :)

I greatly prefer Umbreon. If you teach it Toxic you have an attack that can slowly take your opponents HP, and takes more every turn, to make up for the low attack stat. Them I like to have some kind of move that can stop Pokémon from attacking, the one I've been using lately is probably the most unreliable one there is, but it's Attract. Then there's Dark Pulse as an extra move that works to cause some damage, and Last Resort so that if all else fails you do have a hard-hitter.

Besides that, all-in-all I prefer using the more defensive Pokémon because I seem to have trouble keeping more offensive Pokémon alive unless they have a good Speed stat and a ton of ridiculously powerful moves, type advantage etc.

I prefer Umbreon. I just like Dark-types better than Psychic-types, and I like the way he looks. Speaking of looks, he is one of the shinies that I REALLY like. And Toxic is a pretty good move.

Im more of an Espeon person. Espeon just does more work on teams for me then umbreon ever has. Nothing against umbreon but i would never use one in game over espeon.

Espeon. I've never really used Umbreon, but I have trained an Espeon all the way to Lv. 100 so... yeah.

I prefer Umbreon. One, I much prefer dark over psychic, and I'm just plain bad at using psychic types. I also am able to fit Umbreon into my teams well with a good moveset.

In my Crystal nuzlocke, I learned to appreciate Espeon, more than I previously had. I had an Espeon and Umbreon team, and ended up liking them, pretty much evenly. So, in-battle, probably a tie. However, based entirely on looks, I've always loved Umbreon.

Definitely Espeon. I never bothered to train an Umbreon unless it's neccessary to fill the Pokédex, tbh. I know it can be really useful as a staller but I don't like long and drawn-out battles. Its moveset isn't very diverse either and its most powerful STAB move is Sucker Punch, which only has 5 PP and is only available in Gen IV through the Move Tutor.

I've never had an Umbreon, so I can't chose based on their strategy.

Both are pretty epic though. it's a hard decision.

My Umbreon has never failed me before so I would be naturally biased towards it. Besides, it looks really cool. :) Espeon, on the other hand, has one of the worst shinies imo. Seriously, that shade of green?!

I always preffered umbreon, but that's because I prefer dark types to psychic types

For me it would be Espeon, and that is because in battle it can reflect everything <3 (Perfect Lead) Also, because it's a cute kitty!
