The theory of evolution. One of the most popular theories and one of the most debated topics in the history of logical thinking.

The evolution theory was first presented by Professor Charles Darwin, and has been improved since.

The theory sums up like this.

First living thing was born in a hot pool of hydrogen sulfide. This thing was the first living cell. This cell became to divide and multiply, forming more complex organisms. These organisms are know as "common ancestors". Organisms that are yet to be exposed to the survival of the fittest. These ancestors started multiplying in the oceans Millions of years ago before moving to the land. First organisms to move to land were plants, that moved along side the seafloor, slowly moving to more oxygen filled water and then moving to land. Some of these animal stayed in the waters and became fishes, arthropods, planktons, invertables and amphibians. Then some amphibians and arthropods moved to land and took big differences in evolution. Reptiles and Mammals (Amphibians) and Insects and other land arthropods. First reptiles were MOTHERFUCKING DINOSAURS, Crocodiles and Turtles. First Mammals were Rat-like creatures that later, after the total wipe out of the dinosaurs, inhabited the world. One species moved to trees and mutated to monkeys and then to us, humans.

Now how does Darwinism fit to this? Darwinism basically means, that there is a constant struggle of survival.
Have you ever wondered, why some animal are so alike, but still so different? This is a direct result of "Survival of the fittest". Through generations of reproducing, there happens small mutations in a species. Sometimes these mutations are beneficial and keep the animal alive long enough to reproduce and pass those beneficial genes.
Of example, did you know that originally all peacocks were gray or brown? well how come they are colorful now?
Theory suggests, that some male peacocks were born with a mutation, that caused a change of pigment on their feathers, causing them to be colorful. How ever there were only handful of these peacocks. But for some reason this new color appealed female peacocks more than the grey ones. This lead the colorful peacocks to mate more and pass their mutation on and becoming more dominant than the grey ones.

There are some times where evolution takes a step back, for example Whales are distant cousins of Hippos? But i am not gonna cover that now.

So what do you think? Do you think The theory of Evolution is valid? Is it fool proof?

Debate and discuss! AND if you have any questions about this, tag me and i shall answer to you directly!

There is the Neutral Theory of Evolution, which says evolution is due to pretty much chance and probabilities. The neutral theory of molecular evolution holds that at the molecular level most evolutionary changes and most of the variation within and between species is not caused by natural selection but by random drift of mutant alleles that are neutral. A neutral mutation is one that does not affect an organism's ability to survive and reproduce. (Kimura, 1983)

So now we have the Neutralist versus Selectionist debate. What's your take?
