    Shinies seem to come in waves for me, I can got for awhile without finding any then suddenly I get a few right on top of each other.

    But having a master ball is also a great security blanket, if you by chance run into a shiny legend or something else really rare or hard to catch you don't have to worry avout not getting it.

    I've had legends take between 1 and 150-ish balls, so yeah RNG is in heavy play when capturing.

    I find that if I'm on my last ball with a Legendary, most of the time the site will glitch and say it broke free but then let me name it indicating I've caught it. xD
