Experiences with what has been done. And done again.

For some reason, I don't ever really recall myself having deja vu. I mean, I always dream, but as soon as I'm awake, other things cloud it it, such as "What's for breakfast?" or "What am I going to do today?" I kinda want Deja Vu just to see how it feels, though, because the stories I've heard about it are very interesting.

 

My weirdest de ja vu moment was hiking trails with the family. First, I was in Colorado and on a trail that went up to a really neat lake in the mountains I remember seeing some girl who looked like she was maybe 16 but hiked all alone. It seemed weird to me, and I kinda creepily watched her (she was attractive yes) a while when I was at the lake. 2 years later... I'm in Michigan kayaking a river, heading out to the Bay of Traverse with my family. We get to the bay, and who else would be sitting on the sandy banks of the gulf all alone, next to her kayak, but this person I swear was the exact same girl. Once again all alone, just chilling and looking cute. Looks exactly the same as that person from the 2 years previous.

 

I've had Deja vu's quite a few times, they're not all that special to me anymore. However, not too long ago, I experienced something I'm still not sure of whether it's even possible or not, it was like a false deja vu or something. I'll try to explain it (beware because it's kinda silly)

Okay, so I was playing SSB on my 3DS (told you it was going to be silly), and I was about to enter the next battle, when I got the deja vu. I suddenly remembered entering that same fight, with those characters and all. However, as the battle started, it turned out that I was playing in a different stage as in my deja vu It was really weird, because as far as I can remember, I've never seen or heard about that before... Perhaps I was just imagining things, I really don't know xD

 

I am fairly sure I've seen this topic before.

...Now that the laughter has died down, I shall move on.

Moments I feel that are déjà vu are not in fact things that have already happened (though I feel like they are), but rather, they are things that happen sometime in the near future. All of these occurrences are about rather innocuous occasions, and nothing special, such as seeing a certain car turn at a traffic light, or perform some task on a spreadsheet or word processor.

Nothing too extravagant, really. They're just bits of the future that I think are bits of the past, and it only really clicks as soon as the hindsight comes along and I remember that I had that thought before.

 

Every time I experience (or seemingly experience deja vu), it seems to be very pseudo. I'll be in the moment, and I could've sworn I was at this place, with this person, doing this activity etc. not long ago in a very similar fashion, but my brain cannot quite make it out. My own mind could just be playing tricks on me. What am I to believe, though? No matter how hard I concentrate (trying to recollect) it doesn't even come close to the tip of my tongue.

 

I've definitely had deja vu a few times and again. Honestly, it wasn't intentional at the time, but I think some instances just repeat themselves for a reason. In some cases, it's to grow and learn. After all, history is what helps us create a future, and deja vu is just relearning our history.

 

I have a love and hate releshonship with Dejavu.
I get it pretty damn often, donb't get me wrong, but when I do; I usually starte freaking out. How in the world have I seen a country I never seen before; but yet I feel like I've seen it? Did she say that somewhere before? The worst Dejavu I've gotten was the first day I entered HIgh-school, I had a dream about it a couple years before, and everything that happened in that dream happened in that class. I was having a small panic attack; but I calmed down sooner or later.

I've also gotten dreams that have happened in real life, but when I realized that it was Dejavu, I purposely said something else. But that got me even more scared, so if I do get dejavu, I let it flow the way it should.

 

I've had it happen to me a lot, actually, but in somewhat hard to explain ways.. In every deja vu moment I've had, it was experiencing something in real life that I'd previously seen or felt in a dream. I actually find it pretty interesting whenever I feel these moments coming on, and can get lost in thought for a pretty long time over them.
