Fabric is probably one of the hardest things to draw in my opinion. Especially with all the different folds it has. How do you guys go about drawing clothing and fabric? Is it easy for you to draw the folds?

I have the worst time drawing it. I usually don't add anything unless its a simple scarf because that's the one article of clothing i do know how to draw.

I don't have all that hard a time drawing clothes, but, then again, I don't really put much thought into drawing the folds (except at the elbows). I actually really love to draw clothes. Outfit design is one of my favorite parts about drawing ocs or humanized Pokémon. A person's style can say a lot about them. (And long sleeves and pants are my best friend when it comes to hiding the feet and hands just so I don't have to draw them.)

I’m not that advanced so my stuff is pretty simple. If you’ve seen drawings of charcaters with clothing they you notice how the colors are solid abd don’t have major details.

Surprisingly clothes and fabric are one of the easier things for me to draw. The more folds, the better. For this reason I love drawing loose fitting clothing on my characters.

I'm still learning clothes (for years I either did it skin tight or so baggy they shouldn't stay on) but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I really do enjoy drawing skirts and long puffy sweaters ^^
