Fairy Tail: The Newcomers

Stella comes inside the building, fascinated by the amount of members Fairy Tail has. Even though it's known for it's notorious members, the leader seems to be really carefree about the things that his members do.

Everybody seems to be really busy. You can hear the sound of a wine glass clank into another one, people using the tables as drums, guys gobbling up a bunch of food in their mouths, with ladies giggling for no apparent reason.

The only person that doesn't seem to be busy and is always smiling was Mirajane. She was very known as the usual cover for Sorcerer Magazine, and she was also the person who gave Stella Fairy Tail's stamp on her left collarbone.

"H-hello there, Mirajane-san" Stella said, with her hand mirror in her grasp.

"Good day to you! How's the guild been treating you?" She asked, wearing a smile afterwards.

"It's okay, but I haven't really talked to anyone else but you. Everyone seems pretty busy with what they're doing" Stella said.

"Nonsense! Everybody here isn't busy, they're just waiting for you to talk to them. Everybody here responds to you, just say the word!" Mirajane said with a cheerful face.

Stella didn't want to try to talk to anybody, she's not good at introductions.

"The best way to probably communicate with them or know them more is by jobs. Maybe I'll invite someone along the way" Stella thought.

Her idea was really easy to say, but her actions will matter the most. In the span of 10 minutes, she hasn't even attempted to talk to anybody else after her conversation to Mirajane.

"I knew it. I'm hopeless" She said, frowning down into the ground afterwards "Well, it won't be a bad idea to go on a job on a later date, right?" She thought.

She decided to sit down in an empty table, thinking of how she should make money for her father. As she was thinking, Levy approaches her, noticing that she's a new recruit.

"You're a new member here, right?" Levy asked.

"Uhm, yes I am" Stella replied.

"Interesting, it seems that we get more members everyday! So what's your name? And what's your type of magic?" Levy asked.

"Well, I'm Stella Yamagochi, and I use Enchanting Magic and Sea Reflection Magic. I don't really know if you've heard my magic before or not, but I won't be surprised if you do. You seem very.... Knowledgeable" She replied.

"Well, you're right about the knowledgeable part. I love reading books so I know a lot about magic. I find your magic really interesting!" Levy said.

"Uhh.. Thanks?" Stella replied.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I really need to talk to my teammates now" Levy said, before finally leaving.

"Huh. I guess she isn't so bad. I could try to become her friend too" She thought.

She knew she couldn't do anything too much today, so Stella decided to chat shortly with some people, to know them a little more.

 

When Ashley entered the guild, her first reaction was 'its full of members, going to be hard for me'. She walked inside and suddenly bumped into a girl and they both fell down. Ashley stood up and her expression clearly depicted her irritation. The girl ion which she bumped also stood up and asked "Are you okay?". 'I bumped into her, it is my fault and there is no expression of irritation on her face' Ashley thought. "Yeah, you?" She asked though she didn't wanted to. "I am okay. Well you look like you are new" That girl said. "Yeah" Ashley responded in her monotonous voice.
"Then hi, I am Levy" she introduced.
"Ashley,Ashley Nohara" Ashley said.
"I think you have some problem in smiling" Levy said.
"Oh well, I find no good reason to smile" Ashley said. There was no sign of cheerfulness and smile on her face.
Afree hearing this Levy smiles.
"And..I don't smile because of stupid reasons" Ashley continues.
"I have go to my teammates nice to meet you" Levy said smiling widely.
Ashley walks from there and turns back to see Levy who was still smiling. Ashley sighs and says "Nice to meet you too" and walks away.
'Oh god, talking is hard. How can they smile so much without any reasons' Ashley thought.

 

After a few moments from her failed attempts of trying to talk to someone, she thought that maybe she should be more open.

'Mirajane did say that I could talk to anybody, just say the word' She thought.

While she was looking for someone to talk to, she spots a girl who has black hair with brown streaks. She also seems to be pretty new seeing as she doesn't have anybody to talk with.

'*Gulp* Well, you better not mess this one up Stella. You better don't' She thought, thinking of a way to punish herself if she fails to talk to the girl.

"Uhm.. H-hi! You're new here too..... I guess?" Stella asked the girl, shaking nervously, still trying to put a smile on her face.

'R-relax.... You don't wanna leave a bad impression on people, right?' She thought.

 

Ashley noticed a girl trying to talk to her. "Yeah... Dont be so nervous, I am not that bad" She responded. Ashley saw the nervousness that was streaming into that girl. She wasn't a friendly person but she knew for doing something, it is necessary to know people. She has to talk for sure. "I am Ashley and you?" She asked the girl introducing herself.

 

Stella breathed a sigh of relief, seeing as that person at least didn't ignore her. The girl told her name, and she needed to talk to her the same, proper way as she did.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you, my name is Stella" She said, wearing a smile that isn't forced. She held out her hand for a handshake.

At least, Stella finally has someone else to talk to than Mirajane, since she has finally opened up to someone.

 

Stella was very shocked to see another person talk to her.

"You're a new recruit too?" She asks. "Hi there! My name is Stella!" She added.

Well, good thing she's in the mood right now, since she was very happy she was able to talk to Ashley without being rejected.

 

Ashley turned over to see a girl who was also a new recruit saying Hi. She cant ignore people and at least she doesn't have to roam aroung trying to talk with people. "Hi, my name is Ashley. Nice to meet you" Ashley said. They both were smiling happily and once again she thought how can they smile so much. But she was glad that niw she know some people here and is not alone though she would not consider them as friend. Her attitude will never change.

 

"So, are you guys also looking for a job? We could probably get to know each other and our magic more if we try out a job!" Stella said.

'Hopefully they don't think I need them so I can take all the jewels (currency) on my own, of course I'll share them' She thought.

 

"I precer working alone but...I am ready for it" Ashley said. 'I will do a job and enhance my powers. I will show my brother and world that I can do something' She thought.
