Fairy tail, you like?

I always liked Gray, at least in the beginning. I never got beyond the first arc of the series, but him and Erza are cool characters.

 

Ah yes Fairy Tail happens to be one of my favorite anime shows! I got into Fairy Tail back in 2012 and I'm just now considering on reading the manga. I just get rather lazy when it comes to that. I'm enjoying the 2014 version at the moment. I just got caught up to date with the series. My favorite characters are Natsu, Happy and Sting!

 

I really love Fairy Tail, both the manga and anime. However, I felt like the new animation doesn't really do the anime justice. I've always felt like the original animation was put together really well with so many details and shading. As for the manga, I have so many feels with it. Like the ships in Fairy Tail are sailing so well. I love it.

 

Hi my name is Ros and I have been obsessed with Fairy Tail and Natsu Dragneel for roughly six years now (October marks my sixth year of getting into it).

Anyway, I enjoy both the manga and anime, though am currently ten episodes behind on the anime since I've been lazy |D;; Really love the characters, setting, and music (FT's OST is my all-time fave anime OSTs; it's the Celtic blood in me, I swear!). It also has some of the best filler and omake episodes/chapters and the anime-only arcs have been pretty good, too! As far as the dub goes, Funi's done a pretty good job; love Natsu's voice a lot. Not really happy with Wendy's, though ;;

My fave characters (Natsu aside) include Natsu Dragion (Mashima-sensei please bring back the Edolas gang at some point kthnxbai), Wendy, Lucy Heartfilia, Rogue, and Sting <3 I also RPed Wendy for quite a few years on LiveJournal/Dreamwidth; it was pretty fun~ Oh and I am a diehard NaLu fan; if I had to choose one pairing to love out of all the series I like (animanga, video game, TV, etc.) it would be that one 8)

On-topic, though ()... It looks pretty interesting, I may check out some episodes on NetFlix

 

NaLu aside I like the following pairings: GaLe/Gajevy, Jerza, Stinerva (Stingerva? Stingnerva? I can't remember the name), Lyuvia, LoLu, Elfever, Grayza, Gruvia, Natsu x Gray, Gray x Lyon, Gray x Ultear, Gray and pretty much everyone 8| Natsu Dragion x Lucy Heartfilia (I read a bit of a fic that revolved around this pairing; it was really cute ;; ).

Really loved that scene in the manga, aaaaaaa <3 Gives me hope for NaLu and Jerza ;-; (Also Haru x Elie becoming canon in Rave further helps give me hope for NaLu since they're the main main male and female leads XD

 

I love Fairy Tail The anime is really good. I might even buy the manga sometime.

Oh boy. That GaLe moment made my little heart sing. It was kind of unexpected, but was so worth it. It was so cute, I had it as my lockscreen for a while.

I ship Jerza, Nalu, GaLe, Elfgreen, Gruvia, and so much more, you don't even know.

 

I agree with you on this. The new art style is hard to get used to but the older animation did fit better then the newest one. I also missed the old Magic circle effect.

Also Gray one of my favorite characters as well!

 

I never seen the Fairy Tail anime but I recently started reading the manga. So far so good.

I think I might have heard about Fairy Tail on here from someone and checked it out, and now I've been keeping up to date on the anime, but I haven't gotten around to reading the manga though I do at some point want to. I really like it because I've always liked stuff with magic and stuff in it and hey it's definitely not a bad anime.

 

I've seen a few episodes - really not my thing. From the emphasis on fanservice to the characters in general - it really put me off. I also detest this...



The creator even admitted that's where he came from. Kinda lame.

 

Mashima is affiliated with Oda, so I'm not surprised Gildarts was conceived from Shanks (in fact, I figured as much without knowing it was actually confirmed, haha). It doesn't bother me too much since both are badasses :V

re: fanservice, I will admit it has gotten kinda bad recently. However, it isn't so bad that it makes the anime/manga any less good. Given, fanservice seldom bothers me |D;;
