Fallout 4 Trailer Release!

I saw the trailer on my lunch break at work a few hours after it was released. My first reaction was "I get to be Dogmeat!"

The graphics look beautiful and there's plenty of returning features (Enclave seems to be back by their vertibirds, and I saw some deathclaws too). And that nuclear explosion? Many times better than the Megaton explosion from 3.

The two things that have me the most excited are a little glimpse of a township that looked very alive (in a gaming realism sense) and the fact that everything was beautifully destroyed without being all green/orange like in F3/FNV respectively.

I am only saddened that there was no (obvious) hinting as to the overall plot of the game. Like in Fallout 3 we had the Enclave invasion and the water crisis. But Fallout 4? Looks like a pretty healthy civilization, actually. Good living for after the end of the world. I wonder if it's going to be android-centric...

EDIT: On the interwebs I found a picture posted by somebody else with the same complaint about colors I said above. To be honest though, I might make an ENB to slightly desaturate the color. For instance, some of the blue skies and some towns like the city 1:51 seem unnaturally brightly painted. Nothing in the trailer is concrete though, or else they would be releasing it now, not seven months from now. Anything can change.

 

I haven't played much of the other fallout games, but I am getting pretty excited for fallout four. It looks like it's going to be really impressive, and since it's made by the same people who made Skyrim I'll definitely be giving it a shot.

I freaking love Fallout so hearing about the 4th installment of course gets me too excited.
I just wished it was another Elder Scrolls series because I prefer it over Fallout.
However! With that being said it'll be coming in due time...
