It's for mobile devices and not 3DS. I'm pretty upset. It was one of my all time favorite games that I'll no longer be playing past the first one. I hate this new trend of throwing games to mobile devices.

I honestly wouldn't buy this even if it's cheap. Buying it shows interest in moving the market towards mobile devices which will lead to more games following this trend.

I hope no one supports this. I honestly dread the idea of handheld gaming going to smartphones only. Just... Nintendo pls.

This really isn't the way to go. I know they are thinking about the money...but for what? Decreasing the quality of a really, really great game? Even less people will be able to experience this great series now. It's dumb. No idea why they did this, but I'm guessing solely for money which seems to be a new trend rather than making stuff with quality.

Nintendo, why. I expected when you said that you weren't porting games you would make short IPhone games based on you existing IPs... Instead, you make IoS only sequels to great games... I really hope they keep something about Fantasy Life on 3DS and they don't get rid of the 3DS entirely...

I've gotta feeling that if it does bad, they'll switch back to the 3Ds.

Nintendo seriously should not be doing this. There are people, like me, who don't own smart phones or mobile devices like this. Not only will the game have little to no support now, it will make less money for them. Nintendo needs to stop switching and they need to keep going on the path that the 3ds has paved.

Honestly, I hope this doesn't become a trend. I'd hate for everything to be on a mobile device since it would not only take away the aspect that made videogames so amazing, but also take away something from the phone. Videogames were so successful because of innovation, not addicting frustration and chores. Not only that but, phones are supposed to just be phones that help you connect with people with things like photos and voice. Not gameplay.

    I was surprised. Why I-Pad?
Well, I'm getting the game either way, but this isn't the reason why I bought my I-pad in the first place, but whatever~

Nintendo, I will lose my mind if you do this again. And any other videogame company out there.

Another thing is - this isn't a sequel. It's the same game/plot/maps with some added dialogue and a few more features. I'm hoping this is just a way to build hype for an actual FL2.

I saw this a while back and am really surprised urgh? even as someone who hasn't invested much time in Fantasy Life for the 3DS yet. Despite being a mobile gamer I would've preferred having this game on a handheld and not riddled with microtransactions. Feh. ]: Will still give it a try though so hopefully it exceeds my fairly low expectations.. but the latest post suggesting it might just be a way to build hype is interesting so I'll support that. Would be nice if we still ended up with another sequel for the 3DS with the mobile version as its own separate thing.
