As the title suggests, what are some of your favorite albums, right now or of all time? Who is it by? How'd you discover it?

I think one of my favorite albums right now is Vices and Virtues, by Panic! At the Disco. It has a lot of great music on it and is a good showcase of the lead's powerful vocals. The lyrics are pretty interesting, too. I like the feel it has to it, the instruments, just a really good album. I think my favorite tracks off of it are Nearly Witches, The Ballad of Mona Lisa, Trade Mistakes and Ready to Go.

One of my all time favorites is DEFINITELY Folie a Deux, by Fall Out Boy. I couldn't pick a favorite off of this record if you asked. Great lyrics, great sound, amazing vocals, everything about it is perfect. It's definitely my favorite of Fall Out Boy's work. The first songs that come to mind on this album for me are 20 Dollar Nose Bleed (which happens to feature a guest performance by the lead singer of Panic! At the Disco), What a Catch, Donnie, and w.a.m.s.

They don't have to be as long as my descriptions i just really love music, but what are some of your favorite albums?

My favorite albums would have to be Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, by Panic at the Disco. I love how it blends PATD's whole atmosphere with modern music, and Vegas Lights is one of mu favorite songs ever.

Another favorite would have to be American Beauty/American Psycho by Fall Out Boy. It's a lot like Save Rock and Roll, but I think the tunes are better. Pretty much every track on that album is gold.

    Another would be all of Marina and the Diamonds albums, but especially Electra Heart. Both were flawless, but I'm kind of an EDM fan, so I lean towards EH. What's of Froot right now is fantastic too! I have a preorder c;

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West is amazing too. I think that was his prime, and it certainly took a while for Yeezus to grow on me. I still think Power is his best song. Hyped for So Help Me God!!

Last one. Born to Die by Lana Del Rey. It's just all beautiful. Just... listen to it. You'll see what I mean.

Honorable mentions are Beyoncé by Beyoncé, Because the Internet by Childish Gambino, Jack Ãœ by Skrillex and Diplo, and Money Sucks, Friends Rule! by Dillon Francis.

One of my all time favourite albums is the self titled album The Cat Empire. I love the music from Cat Empire, and in my opinion some of their most memorable songs are from that album, with Two shoes being a close second.

At the moment my favourite album to listen to is Awesome Mix Vol. 1 from Guardians of the Galaxy (I kid you not when I say my parents for Christmas actually got a cassette tape and downloaded all the songs onto it). If that doesn't count, then Swing Both Ways by Robbie Williams and Bad Blood by Bastille are currently ones I'm listening to a lot.

This has easily become one of my favourite albums ever since I purchased it in Christmas of 2010. If you're into Progressive / Electro house music, this is definitely the album for you. Some of my favourite tracks include Some Chords, Sofi Needs A Ladder, Cthulhu Sleeps, Right This Second, & Raise Your Weapon. I highly, highly recommend it.

This was probably one of my favourite albums that I own, and I love all the music that is on it. I had this for close to 5 years and it is still in great condition. I honestly cannot complain about it.

Graduation by Kanye West right now tbh. Rap isn't really my thing, but the beats on that album are really nice! I can't help but want to groove when I listen to them.

Honestly its kind of hard to choose a favorite album, because I'm more prone to downloading songs that I like rather than actual albums.

Right now, it's "Who Put the M in Manchester" by Morrissey. Not that I'm old school, but It's always been my favorite album for as long as I can remember. Not that many people know what is Indie Pop anymore. The sad thing is when I went to Morrissey's concert, he never played any songs from that album. Or any old song in fact, besides his usual "There is a light that never goes out." The concert was to promote his new album, which obviously isn't doing well compared to his old ones.

Foo Fighter's Wasting Light is my favorite album. It's really hard for me to pick favorites for anything music, but I think I can safely pick this one. Pretty much every song on the album captures my musical attention, which is rare for me. Adding to the fact that I enjoy the songs and a couple of them are on my favorites list, I think we have a winner. :D

I'm going to update mine with an album I've liked since maybe November, and hasn't gotten old yet.

*lists all of taylor swift's discography*

1989, Taylor Swift. - Honestly Swift's best in my opinion, with songs like Style that make you look out the window and think about former flames and some nagging emotions that just won't leave you behind, to Blank Space that make you want to egg your ex-boyfriend's house. Clean is a retrospective on Swift's newer life choices, stripping herself of the "long list of ex-lovers" persona she's built and becoming her own person. The album itself has a sound inspired by 80's pop, which is clear in her use of synthesizers, and is Swift's first record showcasing her real shift from country to pop, with her previous album, Red, being dubbed her transitional period.

Overall, 1989 is a wonderful album and will probably be one of my favorites for awhile. Even if Taylor Swift isn't you thing (she sure as hell wasn't mine before this record), I'd recommend looking up a few of her singles from the album and giving them a listen. Who knows? Maybe you'll be able to shake off a few of your past views on the singer/songwriter.

1989 is definitely one of my favorite albums as well. All of the songs really complement one another and really tell a story as you go through the list. It's been one of my favorites for a while now with it being one of the more honest albums out there.

However, right now Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson takes the cake for me. She's pretty much stripped down to were it's so reflective her struggle growing up as an artist. Her vocals are incredible and gives her music so much more of her character. It's such a strong, emotional connection, I'm in love.

I'm stuck between My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus, both by Kanye West. Both are great albums with great songs. I just love them!

I choose Capacities by Up Dharma Down as my third, Last Fantasy by IU as my fourth, and Help! by the Beatles as my fifth.
